But I'm blaming that on the jalapeno sausages that I had for lunch yesterday. It's a bit annoying, but I'm not going to let it get to me. Because I'm sure that it's just a minor temporary bump. This morning I did start editing the video that I want to upload for Tuesday. It really isn't a difficult or very long video I just can't seem to find the time to work on it. There's another thing to add to the list of reasons that I'm glad I'm done drinking. Before I went to work this morning my Grandma sent me a message that her hallway light seemed to be burnt out and asked me if I was willing to come over and change the bu...

Woot, triple digits on the sobritety. Still can't seem to spell sobriety properly. I don't think that I've gone 100 days without alcohol since I was 21. Not that I've been struggling with it for that long.

I printed out the front half of the left forearm of the costume I'm working on. When it finished it was quite satisfying how well it matched up with the back half of the forearm that I printed several years ago. I had to cut the part up a little more because the new printer isn't big enough to print it off in one piece. But a bit of duct tape is holding it together right now. The back half was printed in black filament and the front half is in white filament so there a bit of “yin and yang” going on with the part. It is a bit tight so I'll have to take a dremel to the edges of the part. When I start welding the pieces together I'll weld the top and bottom together. But I'm going to have to figure out some sort of hinge and clip part to open and close the piece around my forearm. And when I'm ready to print the right forearm I'm going to up scale the parts a bit more so they're not so tight. Heck messing with this part that I have now I might have to resize it. -_- “Measure 10,000 times cut print once” -_-

Someone on Reddit shared a web cam clip to attach the web cam to the side of the printer. I went ahead and printed it off to clip the web cam the the printer. It was propped up on the edge of a folding table that was sitting sideways propped up against the printing table. It worked, but it was kind of a getto set up. I'm not sure if the new set up is better because I printed the camera holder while I printed the forearm part. It didn't seem to hold the camera so it could look far enough down into the printer. But when the build plate is done it is all of the way down. So when it starts to print perhaps it is in a position where the camera can see.

The meat is having a great sale right now. (Not Sponsored) The pork butts that I have them cut into steaks are BOGO and the Johnsonville Bratwursts are $2.99 apiece. Heck the store brand bratwursts are $4.49. I was joking with the lady in the Meat Market that it was like someone was reading my diary.

On a sad note I was notified that a guy who worked in the meat department had passed away a couple of days ago. I was saddened by the news of his passing as I was on really friendly terms with him. We only saw each other a couple of times a week, but we always joked about weird people that we had to deal with. I was on vacation last week, but several weeks ago I heard that he had gone home because one of his eyes had gone blind. Last I heard he had gone completely blind and had to be convinced to go see a doctor. But the rumor is that he had developed an aneurysm. That would explain how he had gone blind. I was trying to deal with losing a friendly coworker, but the coworker lady was obsessed with talking about his passing. She was rather bothered by the fact that he wanted to be cremated and didn't want a service. I told her that it wasn't up to her how he wanted to be treated. But she was offended that she couldn't “Sign his book” I told her that it was messed up that she found offense in the way he wanted to be treated after he died.

I don't plan on going any time soon. So don't get worried by me saying this. I'm not planning for anything to happen. I'm just wanting to be clear on the point. When God deems it time for me to come home I want this blog to be printed off, lamented, and buried with me. There's the thought of future archeologists coming across the grave and seeing the thoughts and experiences of a (more or less) average guy at the turn of the 3rd millennium. There are "time capsules" out there, but I've heard that archeologists really aren't interested in those because those are always filled with outlier things. And things that the average person really doesn't deal with on an average basis.

Who knows perhaps my blog would be some kind of Rosetta Stone

Ποιος ξέρει ίσως το blog μου θα ήταν ένα είδος Rosetta Stone
Quis scit forsitan stilus meus fore aliquem Rosetta Stone
誰知道也許我的部落格會是某種羅塞塔石碑
Кто знает, может быть, мой блог станет своего рода Розеттским камнем.

On a lighter note I'm getting a chuckle out of the Facebook notifications. Apparently last week my Sister-in-Law went with her kids, my nieces and nephew, to the skating rink. It looks like they had a lot of fun. It kind of looks like the same place we went to when I was a kid. If it's still open that is kind of amazing. And it looks like they had a lot of fun. The funny thing is that Facebook seems to be determined to know about their trip. As every single day this week I've been notified about the pictures she took of the kids at the skating rink. It looks like they had a lot of fun. But seriously, ding, some pictures shared by Sister-in-law. Ding picture shared by sister in law, ding picture shared by sister in law.
