And it's nice that both the scale and waistline is measuring down. Typically lately when the scale is down the waist is up. Happiness is not a number on the scale/tape measure, but it is nice to have progress again. Not quite progress as I'm still up 1.8 lbs for the month, but down 12.9 lbs for the year. I didn't get around to making the post for Thursday night (Thursnight? hmm) as I did get off of work earlier than I normally would have, but I spent a lot of the evening editing the video that I posted today as I really am wanting to post the Friday Store Stories video on YouTube. Again I doubt that I'll ever get higher than a...

I didn't get to the Y this morning either. I was conscious at 7am. But there is a big difference between awake and conscious. I didn't get up and around until closer to 9am. And by the time I got up, showered, and had breakfast there just wasn't enough time to go over there for a reasonable workout.

I poked a bit at the 3d Printing software on my computer. It still isn't sending the file to the printer to so I can print off. A warning about the firewall did come up, but it went away before I could figure out much about it. Maybe that is the issue. I try to tell myself that I'm going to leave it alone until Monday when I'm off and will have more time to deal with it. But I can't help but poke at it more.

I returned the wireless charging pad that I bought yesterday, thankfully the refund showed up in my account right away. Sometimes refunds go back to the card the next business day. And as today was Friday the next business day would be Monday.

The first half of the day was really quite quiet. Especially for a Friday. There is a promotion for 4 times fuel points and people usually swarm into the store. But not today. There were sizable orders. And one or two people who griped at me because they (gasp) stood NEXT IN LINE. But for the most part the first half of the day it was pretty quiet.

Had some hot dogs with the Italian Sausage and Spinach soup. I didn't need to buy the hot dogs. But today was one of the cashiers last day and I wanted to tell him farewell. He's going to be a guard at the prison that we have here in town. He's a really nice guy, so I hope he'll be alright.

On the way back to work I got the “Low Gas” warning on the car again. So I went by the fuel station. It made me a few minutes late getting back to work, but not long enough for anybody to notice. It was satisfying because last time I got gas I tried to stop at $20. But frustratingly it stopped at $20.01, and today I was able to stop it at $19.99 So conveniently it shows on the Financial Program that I spent exactly $40 for the month.

All during the first half of the day it was a bit hazy outside. But while I was at lunch the wind REALLY picked up. There were full on dust storms happening around the state and reports of wild fires. Kind of makes me think of the Dust Bowl. That's not far away from the centennial anniversary. Does make one wonder if there's a long cycle that is coming due soon. People were seeming to try to pretend that they weren't worrying about the weather, BUT THEY WERE ALL YELLING. THEY WEREN'T YELLING AT ANYBODY THEY WERE JUST TALKING REALLY LOUDLY! I kind of wanted to get on the intercom and tell everybody to calm down. But I don't think that would have been very helpful.

Dinner was going to be cheeseburger patties again. I'm pretty sure that when I did the meal plan the other day I took some sets of patties out of the freezer and put them in the fridge. I know that they can be cooked from frozen. But it's easier to get them apart once they're thawed out. And as I got more burgers out of the freezer for cooking tonight I proved that as I was trying to get the burgers apart I had multiple snap in half. I was going to go to back to the store to get something for dinner as anything else I had planned for the week would take hours to cook, but Roommate suggested ordering pizza. Not the best thing for the diet. But as I did get gas today I wasn't really in the position to turn down a free dinner.

I was planning on posting this early and then play Oblivion as I have yet to have a moment to play the game that I bought yesterday. But as I wrote this out I just got more and more tired. I think I'm just going to go to bed.  That might be for the best as I still have my alarms set to go off at 7am because I'm trying to force myself to wake up earlier.
