Resetting back to a couple of days ago. So back to making progress for the month. Feet really hurt this morning. They stopped hurting as I got up and moving around. As I was leaving for work (dressed, so I know it wasn't a dream) I noticed that the windows were down a bit. I hurriedly thought if it had rained last night. I don't think that it did. I'm sure that I had just left them down a bit because of the great weather we've been having the last couple of days. On the way to work I am starting to wonder if the sensor on the traffic light is working or not. I was reminding myself of how well I felt on the days that I did go last year. But I'm on vacation, I could just sit at my computer playing Oblivion. I've gained a bit of weight over the last couple of days as I've been off of my diet, and last year when I was going to the Y I was making amazing progress. But I've heard that 80% of weight loss happens in the kitchen. You're only delaying going because it's new and different. Hard to argue against that. And not much happened today. Weight was up a bit. But I had pizza for dinner last night. The wind was going wild again today, but not as crazy as yesterday. Yesterday was reminding me of stories of the Dust Bowl. Today was cold and windy, but next week looks like it is going to start off quite warm. But there are rumors of snow on Wednesday. It's funny Tuesday is going to be 84 (29 c) , but Wednesday is going to be 50 (10 c) usually when there's a drop in temperature like that there's a really good storm in between. I was conscious at 7am. But there is a big difference between awake and conscious. I didn't get up and around until closer to 9am. And by the time I got up, showered, and had breakfast there just wasn't enough time to go over there for a reasonable workout. I poked a bit at the 3d Printing software on my computer. It still isn't sending the file to the printer to so I can print off. A warning about the firewall did come up, but it went away before I could figure out much about it. Maybe that is the issue. Sure there will be daily fluctuations, but weight being up makes one wonder of the decisions of the day before and being down is a great reinforcement of the lifestyle. I have cottage cheese and hot dogs one day for lunch, the next day the weight is up. I have a recipe that I have saved for lunch the weight is down. I have Jalapeno cheesy sausages for lunch, the next day the weight is up. It's still among the lowest weigh ins for the year. And I'm still down 10 lbs for the year. I think starting tomorrow I'll start doing the tracking in my phone app again. Maybe start going back to the YMCA on Monday. I wont go tomorrow because with their Sunday hours they are only open while I'm at work. I'm thinking of trying to get into a habit of going into the weight room Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I actually moved my scale around to make sure that there wasn't anything underneath it. The watch scan says that there was a pretty big drop in muscle, but there was also a big drop in water weight. A little annoyed by the waist being up an inch for the day. As today is the first of the month it kind of throws off the average for the month. Again I'm thinking that fat is breaking down into water weight. Apparently Verizon had an update that scans the phone to for malware. The problem is that it decided to make notifications that it had started the scan. And then sent another notification that the scan was done. And then a notification that it started the virus scan. And then a notification that the virus scan was complete. I was glad that these scans were happening. And I'm glad that the scans came out clean, but I'm not sure that I liked to have these notifications at 2 O'clock in the freaking morning.
