Weight: 303.7 lbs ( 137.7 kg) BMI: 39.0 Waist: 52.5 in ( 133.4 cm) WtHr: 70.9% Breakfast: X Lunch: Smithfield Pork Loin Dinner: KC Strip Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Monster, Sparkling Water, Sober Year 1 (Day 577) Keto Month 4 (Day 138) (188/365 Days 2026 Keto) That's a good drop in the weight today. Almost back to making progress for the year. I really didn't do anything before work this morning. I got the feeling that I was supposed to be doing something. But I couldn't figure out what it was. I did think about having breakfast. It is kind of funny as I was thinking that there was a quite a long time when I was doing TMAD, but back then I wasn't doing Keto as I was having Fried Chicken for lunch and Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) for dinner and then skipping breakfast. When I learned about Keto and was trying that diet I started having Bacon and Eggs for breakfast each day and then had a recipe for lunch, and then for dinner. That eventually evolved into havi...

Sure the weight has been under the start of the year for most of the year. But for most of this month the wight has tracked upwards. I think it might be a bit soon to tell if today's weight was the result of the TMAD diet finally taking hold. I was dreading trying to come up with the courage to call the dentist to cancel the plan for the implants as throwing around numbers all day yesterday just didn't make it look like I was able to afford the two $11,000 payments and I wasn't sure how the $620 payment plan that we discussed fit into everything. But they had called me this morning to tell me that they needed a couple more X-Ray sca...

I hope that it isn't related to the storms that have been coming through lately. And when the power came back up it sounded like a big bunch of fireworks went off. Or at least I hope it was fireworks. :/ The radar was clear and the forecast doesn't show any storms for the next several hours. Trying to not let today's weight effect me too much. But that is a bit of a blow to the morale to be back up to Morbidly Obese. Back of my heels really felt the increase in weight. I did have to ...

It wasn't much earlier as I was scheduled to work 10 to 5:30, but that did throw me off so all I did was count down how much time I had left before going to work. Since I didn't take the time to cook lunch when I cooked breakfast I had the smoked sausages for lunch. Today I had the Double Cheddar Smoked Sausages as I was wanting to compare how I felt between that flavor and the Jalapeno Cheddar Smoked Sausages that I had yesterday as after lunch yesterday my ankles and knees were sore. Today they didn't hurt as much, but there was still a discomf...

My jaw had a low ache to it all night. Not strong enough to do much other than keep me awake doing the rotisserie chicken all night trying to find the comfortable position. Over the day yesterday it didn't hurt that much more, but it was manageable during the day. It didn't really hurt when I had the sausage patties yesterday for breakfast or Bratwursts for lunch yesterday. But when Mom prepared Pork Steak it felt like fire going through my jaw. I had to keep grabbing bottles of water as cool water felt good on the left side of my mouth, but as it warmed in my mouth it lo...

Just kind of laid in bed for an extra hour, kept telling myself that I needed to get up and get going. I just was kind of lazy this morning. Annoyed that the BMI is still above the “Morbidly Obese” level. Today I wore another one of the new pairs of pants that I had ordered last week. These are pretty conformable as well. They are a lot quieter than the “Tactical Police Pants” I was glad to note that these pant's phone pocket was able to hold my phone as previous pairs of pants the phone pocket was too small for my phone. It was kind of funny on the “tactical pants” there was a warning that you are “required to remove packaging to wear ...

I recorded the moment of standing on the scale, but didn't get the vlog part of it done. I did think about doing it after work this evening. But considering the store story video took about 9 hours to edit a 8 minute video I didn't think that I would have time to get it done. And I definitely wouldn't have time to do a video and a blog post. Mom cooked sausage patties with some eggs and cheese this morning for breakfast. She cooks the sausage patties better than I do. I imagine that she has a bit more practice than I do. I did get the pork steak baked for the lunch break, it was pretty close to the time I had t...

And it's nice that both the scale and waistline is measuring down. Typically lately when the scale is down the waist is up. Happiness is not a number on the scale/tape measure, but it is nice to have progress again. Not quite progress as I'm still up 1.8 lbs for the month, but down 12.9 lbs for the year. I didn't get around to making the post for Thursday night (Thursnight? hmm) as I did get off of work earlier than I normally would have, but I spent a lot of the evening editing the video that I posted today as I really am wanting to post the Friday Store Stories video on YouTube. Again I doubt that I'll ever get higher than a...

I'm just gobsmacked that well “gobsmacked” is a recognized word and that I spelled it correctly on the first try, but on topic I had beaten the “short goal” again I'm not considering that goal “beaten” just yet as daily fluctuations can easily bring that above the 1/2 lb that I've passed that goal by. I finished the “Daily Challenges” of the word match game that I've been spending WAY too much mental energy on. There's such an emptiness when I finish a game like this. It's never very satisfying. I'm not sure how to explain it it's just, “Okay, I...

It's been a week or two since I've had a weight that was below the beginning of the year. Waistline is still stagnant though. Since I did the shopping yesterday and Mom gave me a couple weeks worth of lunch I was able to re-record the store story that I was wanting to make. And since it was just a rant to into the camera it wasn't that hard to edit it. I was able to upload that and schedule it's release. I also scheduled the release of the political opinion short that I made. At least I hope I uploaded it as a short. Either way it's going to be a really short video. I also finished the script for the next political opinion. It was really fun to finally get aro...

So it kind of looks like I had 8 half pieces of bacon. IDK I think I would prefer 4 full pieces of bacon. Finished the shopping list and went ahead and did the grocery shopping for the week. I went ahead and topped off the gas in the car and got a hair cut as well. I tried to tell myself that there wasn't a need to make the meal plan just yet as I will be off tomorrow and I usually do the meal plan on Tuesday anyway. But I had just finished doing the grocery shopping and the food was just sitting there in the fridge and I wanted to get the steaks and sausages sealed up in the vacuum seal bags. When I...

I went ahead and paid off the remaining four months of the car insurances and re-balanced my budget to hopefully have that budgeted to be paid off all at once in the six month sections. It is cheaper to pay it off all at once. It was just last year right after I had paid off the first six month section my car's oil pressure sensor decided to crap out and I had to pay an extra $455 dollars right after I had paid off the monthly bills and bought a 3D printer. I'm going to be quite a bit more careful this year with the returns and I'm going to be loading up the saving accounts like I was wa...

And I've slept in a day or two so I didn't have time before work to do much either. So it kind of felt like I was waking up and going to work, then going back to bed.  I have been having a hard time cooking over the last couple of days. On Thursday I was happy that I had paid all of the bills that morning so I baked a Fathead Pizza. But the crust had completely carbonized to the baking sheet. Not sure what happened there. I've cooked Fathead Pizza before and had burnt it more than once, but never that badly before. And...

A bit irritating that the day of the year is 2 though. That's a pretty big jump on the scale this morning. I don't think that I ate 7 pounds (3.1 kg) of food yesterday. But when I got home from Grandma's house last night eating a lot of not very keto food I was REALLY thirsty and drank quite a few cans of seltzer. But that's about 9 cans of seltzer, not counting now much I would have peed out. Oh well, it's not a good idea to try to overanalyze the day to day fluctuations. Strange that Google recognizes the word “overanalyze” but spellcheck flags it...

Roommate was up all night last night screaming in pain. I'm a bit nervous to ask him what's wrong, only because I'm pretty sure that I already know. I'm willing to bet that his problems are something to do with his “Werther's Original Meal Replacement Plan” he's never been a big fan of the Keto/carnivore diets (The Proper Human Diet as Dr Berry calls them). He came up with the idea of whenever he gets hungry, instead of eating he'll have a piece of candy instead of eating real food. Kind of like how when people try to quit smoking they suck...

I worked until 9pm last night closing the desk. It wasn't that stressful. I actually got out on time for the second time in a row that I got out on time when closing the desk. A lot of times when closing the desk I get out 15 to 20 minutes late. But last night I was able to get out right at 9 O'clock. I did pay my car registration yesterday. The invoice said that it was $150.02 and I remembered in the past when I paid with my debit card there was a fee. I thought that I would be clever and run by the store and grab a Sugar Free Red Bull and withdraw $160 and use that to pay the car registration. However when I got there there was still a fee so I ended up paying $152.54. It is really annoying to pay a fe...

It was really good weather for sitting around zoning out. Pretty good track on weight loss this month so far. Net loss of 4lbs (1.8 kg) Fascinating coincidence that the difference from yesterday in pounds is the difference so far for the month in kilograms. I was a bit nervous about the trashcan. As I had forgotten to take it to the curb last week it was really overfilled. I had took it out to the curb on Wednesday this week, but as Labor Day was this week the trash collection was delayed a day. However if I didn't take it out there I knew I would forget it and that wouldn't work out very well. What had made me nervous as when I took Roommate to his appointment it was clear ...

And looking over the ingredients for the casserole it looks like it's a carnivore recipe. Unfortunately the two batches only made 4 satisfying servings. Fortunately I'm on Paid Time Off next week and I have enough chicken in the freezer to have Baked Chicken for lunch all of next week or at least for a good chunk of it. Dishing it up it really smelt like some ranch dressing would go really good in it. But looking at the ingredients of store bought Ranch Dressing it really is just flavored Vegetable Oil and a lot of keto/carnivore influencers are seriously against "Seed o...

I keep staring at the Financial program like something is going to jump out at me. I'm experimenting with a “transfer” into the “Cash” account. I'm going to record an “allowance” that is going to be expressed as a “transfer” into the Cash account each week and as I spend money over the week I'll subtract the amount spent from the transfer for next week. I'm kind of tired to explain the thought process very well, and the attempt went on for way too much of a ramble. I had some ingredients left from the last time I made the Paleo Keto Gumbo  and some other ingredients had digital coupons on them so I took that as a sign to make another batch for the lunch this wee...

Spent a lot of time of it just respawning. Getting started in that game is pretty brutal. Thankfully one of the Mods Roommate installed was “Tombstones” where when your character is killed it leaves a tombstone where all of your in game items are stored and when you respawn you're given a note showing the coordinates of where all of your items are. The frustration there was another Mod that Roommate installed was for a specific enemy mob that would be swarms of this wizard that you're supposedly supposed to find the “real” one, but there will be swarms of clones running around attacking you. So I would go looking to find my last tombstone, and run into another swarm of wizards and end up droppi...

It took a while for the Instant Pot to get up to pressure, and that was after the rushing around to get it in the pot itself. The plan was to get the instant pot chili set up for the lunch for the week. Well, I was going to do that yesterday, but I needed to do laundry yesterday. And as it only takes 35 minutes at pressure to cook this chili and I was scheduled to work at 11:30 instead of 11am I figured that it would be fine to get that pot done before work. It was taking so long for it to get to pressure I looked it up on Reddit, and apparently the larger recipes take longer to pressurize because the entire pot has to get up to boiling ...
