I didn't have any beer, but I did have some fried chicken for lunch and frozen pizza for dinner. This is supposed to be a Keto/Sobriety blog. I guess I could have just made a “Sobriety” post. But this started off as a Keto Blog and it kind of felt strange to write: “Welcome to my usually Keto Blog...” Another challenge that I couldn't overcome was yesterday was the last day of work before I went on vacation this week so when I got home all of ME just kind of shut down. I'm pretty sure I heard the windows shutdown sound when I sat at my computer. Although I did eat a lot of carbs yesterday I woke up feeling pretty good today. Ever since I got home fr

And I'm wanting to do swimming next week so I spent a few minutes in the weight room I had to struggle with the thought that I was doing everything wrong and I was just wasting time. I tried to use the counter thought of “Doing something is always better than doing nothing” but I really couldn't bring myself to do much in the weight room. I did feel a lot more confident and sure of myself when I was using the treadmill. But then again that's just walking. If I can't figure out how to walk by now I'm going to have a lot of questions with mys

I was going to start this back up yesterday, but it just became another than a “Mark Whines About Work” Post. I feel like work absorbs enough of my life without me coming home and stewing about the BS. And I doubt anybody wants to read about that. But that does put a heck of a block on what I could write about on a “Daily Blog” Yesterday when I stepped on the scale I was back to where I was, weight wise, at the beginning of the year and I have been kind of concerned about the returning stabbing pain in my feet and how stiff my legs have been lately. I've also been really tired and irritated all da

I wasn't paying attention to what the voice was saying because they started the session by saying, “Sit up straight in your chair, your head straight up, and let the stress of your day flow down. Let the stress of the day flow down into the part of the chair where your chair is touching your body” And I couldn't help but interpret that as, “Let the stress of the day flow down, let the stress of the day flow down, and out of your ass” The rest of the meditative session was lost to me because I couldn't help but to bust out laughing about the idea of forcing the daily stress out the ass. I think i

Clumsy Day Daily Blog March 26, 2023

Weight: 335.4 lbs ( 152.1 kg) BMI: 43.1 Waist: 56 in ( 137.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cottage cheese with ranch, salt, and pepper Dinner: Velveeta Cheeseburger Skillet Dinner Drinks: Cup of coffee with cream, 2x Kroger energy shots, 2L Big K Caffeine free Diet Cola      Today was a very clumsy day. It seemed like everything I touched I was knocking something else over. Every thing I typed out was misspelled or worded wrong or said it in the right way. Brain and body is just kind of floppy today. I have a guess that it has something to do with how much stress I had this last week at work.      I did take the time to do a Weekly Weigh In video. When I was making it I wasn't very confident that I had made a very good video. But when I got home this evening and looked over it again it doesn't seem that bad. But this afternoon when I was uploading it I had a hard time getting set up like it should be, tags attached, correct play lists etc. But I'

Working on a Video Daily Keto Blog March 25, 2023

Weight: 334.4 lbs ( 151.6 kg) BMI: 42.9 Waist: 56 in ( 137.2 cm) WtHr: 75.6% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cottage cheese with ranch, salt, and pepper Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Cup of coffee with cream, 2x Kroger energy shots, ~2700ml water      Not a very productive morning. I really just spent it counting down until I have to get ready for work. That is a frustration that I have in my life. I never take the time to do anything, I just count down how much time I have left before I have to do something else. I do the same thing with money. I never save any, I just average out how much I have and how much I could spend each day to make it last until the next thing I have to pay for. But then it becomes more of a spending goal instead of a savings goal.      Another “fun” day at work. But at least I remembered that I was wanting cottage cheese for lunch. I added a bit of ranch dressing into the cottage cheese with the epic amounts of salt and pepper that I like in the cheese

The weight was down pretty good today so I might just be being down on myself.      I was really hungry this morning so I cooked an extra slice of bacon. But it just made it so the bacon went cold before I was able to eat it all. I also didn't get it cooked crispy. It was cooked enough to have it so it wouldn't make me sick, but just not in the crispy form that I'd prefer.      I was going to leave my debit card at home, but I have seemed to have ran out of precooked meals. I keep thinking that I'm going to go online to look up some recipes, but then I keep getting

Was kind of impressed that I was down from last week, but it was up 5 pounds from yesterday. I'm pretty sure that the up has to do with the clothes I wear for the videos. So I'm not too worried about the up today.      Was kind of annoyed when I got to work. I forgot my phone and my water bottle. But when I got to work there was a note on today's daily schedule saying that water bottles are not allowed at the registers. Technically this was always the case. But some of the managers looked the other way when someone had some water with them. But now they're cracking down on it. This is a bit annoying because I was getting my water drank because I had just bought a water

The face wont turn on, the buttons don't seem to do anything, and it wont connect to the phone. But do you know what does work on it? The alarm -_- I'll be glad when this winter is over. It's never really bothered me before, but this cold is really starting to get annoying. It just keeps going. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat soon enough Back down to last months' lowest weight. GOODBYE ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS. Looking at the graph of the weight over the year is interesting though. Last month there was a real sharp downwards trend from the 18 th to the 25 th . And that's when I started buying diet sodas and from time to time buying beer. And it gradually climbed.

And that's just switching from diet soda and sparkling water to coffee and tap water. Oh and getting the hell away from beer. Even the “”Low Carb”” stuff. I think my body is getting used to the extra water that I'm drinking, or I got most of that water weight out. Woke up with a bit of a headache and stiff muscles this morning, but it went away as I got up and moving. Wondering if it's more “Keto Flu” or maybe time to invest in a new bedding. The box springs is kind of broken down. Or maybe it's because I'm 36 years old and that's just what mornings are like for someone in their mid 30's      Tried a new flavor of coffee, I usually buy the “Breakfast Blend” w

It was probably too much diet soda yesterday. I am excited that my waist measurement is down. I don't think I've had a 54 inch waist since 2018. This wasn't even "creative rounding" or anything. It really was right at 54 inches! And like 330 lbs (149.7 kg) 54 inches (137.2 cm) seems to be another hurdle that I struggle with. So if I can make progress on that it would be quite exciting. It is kind of interesting that 0.5 inches off of the waist is 0.6% off of the WtHr      Saw some weather forecasts for this weekend and people are pretty excited that the highs are going to be in the 60's ( >15 C) This weekend. I know that it's
