The scale was glitching again this morning. I admit that I had used the lowest number that it had listed, but it was the most consistent number that it gave. It was quite cold in the apartment this morning. It's late October so I shouldn't complain that we still haven't had a hard freeze yet. But it would have been nice to have a heater. I had put the pay check into the sheet to see how the paycheck this year compared to last year. And somehow it was saying that my net balance more than $400 over than what I had this time last year. And that REALLY didn't seem right as my grand total is sitting at $147. So I had spent WAY too long over the last couple of days putting the totals of the different accounts into the spreadsheet to see the balances of the different accounts and see how they compared to each other. But fluctuations happen. I was wanting to find something to do. So I thought of coming up with a spreadsheet to show and compare my spending this year compared to this time last year. Because I know that I had a pretty expensive car repair earlier this year, but I wanted to figure out why I can't get ahead any further than treading water. And looking at the spending categories I am spending less on Food and Dining, not as less as I would like. By this time last year I had spent $2,625.73 on beer. Disappointingly so far this year I've spent $514.12 on Nonalcoholic Beer which is $2,111.61 down from last year. I really could have used that $514. It...

I was going to start out filling out the map in Minecraft. Roommate had installed a mod that if your character is killed in the game they'll leave behind a tombstone. Without the mod your character will drop all of your stuff which will all disappear if you don't get back to it, but with the tombstone it will hold all of your stuff and give you a pamphlet telling you where your stuff is. It took me a while to get started as I wanted to make a second map and fill out two maps at the same time. But I did get around to starting out and when nighttime fell and monsters were going to start coming out I put up a camp site that's supposed to have the game skip until day when the monsters are suppose...

Spent a lot of time of it just respawning. Getting started in that game is pretty brutal. Thankfully one of the Mods Roommate installed was “Tombstones” where when your character is killed it leaves a tombstone where all of your in game items are stored and when you respawn you're given a note showing the coordinates of where all of your items are. The frustration there was another Mod that Roommate installed was for a specific enemy mob that would be swarms of this wizard that you're supposedly supposed to find the “real” one, but there will be swarms of clones running around attacking you. So I would go looking to find my last tombstone, and run into another swarm of wizards and end up droppi...

I was surprised when I woke up and it was already 9:30am. And I had to work at 11am. The first half of the day went just fine and smooth for those five hours, but when I came back for the remaining three hours people had just went bonkers. I think people had realized that it was a holiday weekend and they hadn't planed on anything after the weekend so they had to catch up. And I have a theory that the more people in an area, the dumber the individual person in the area and people were reinforcing that theory. I'm writing this on the 12 th , but by the time she reads this it'll be her birthday. She is the the one who told me about the Keto diet and convinced me to try it. A bit clumsy getting the weigh in video done today. When I first got on the scale to get the numbers for the weigh in I was kind of bummed because it was higher than yesterday's post. But today's weigh in has me wearing a pair of shorts, socks, and a shirt. (have to have some modesty) and comparing today's numbers to last weeks numbers really was quite encouraging. I guess that I followed my diet a lot better last week than I have the previous couple of weeks. I love working on spreadsheets, they are quite satisfying to get working. If I could choose my dream job, I think it would be a 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, data entry job. But I think that might be a dream of a dream job, it sounds like something that could easily be replaced by AI. And I have to say It is a lot funner working out the spreadsheet tracking my weight loss over the year than it is to be cleaning my house like I'm supposed to be doing. Not surprising considering yesterday's indulgence, but was kind of surprising was the fire in the feet and the stiff calf muscles. Kind of brought to mind what a coworker had told me when I was buying that Bud Light Next, he said that alcohol in itself is kind of a carb and it breaks down into sugar so a “Carb Free” alcohol is kind of impossible. This might need more research. I do know that Doc Berry is very instant that alcohol is just a poison and nobody needs to be drinking it, no matter what diet they're trying to do.
