I actually moved my scale around to make sure that there wasn't anything underneath it. The watch scan says that there was a pretty big drop in muscle, but there was also a big drop in water weight. Which makes since because of the last couple of days. But the scan says that fat is up a little On the way home from the hospital with Roommate I happened to drive by where the new YMCA is going to be and wow that is going to be huge. Roommate was surprised that I cared because he thought that I had quit going. And it wasn't that I had given up on the idea of going to the Y it's just that I was waiting for him to go back to work. He asked me why h...

That is 4.5 lbs (2 kg) down for the month. I'm sure a good chunk of that is just water weight. But losing water weight is still getting weight off of my feet. Roommate was a little irritated at me this morning. I'm running low on bacon so I decided to have a strip steak and eggs for breakfast this morning. I have to say that eggs fried in bacon and steak drippings is a good combination. But he uses a CPAP machine and I guess that the smell of the steak cooking in the seasonings was going into the machine and basically punching him in the face. The back of my hands look like lizard s...

Sleep just didn't happen. Google says that Keto Insomnia is a known phenomenon that can last up to four weeks. That would suck. I really don't want to flop around until March. Today was higher than yesterday's, but still considerably lower than the average for the year. I was down 5.4 lbs (2.4 kg) yesterday compared to the day before, I'm not going to be bothered by being up one pound (0.45 kg) today. Since I didn't wake up very well before work I only had a single cup of salted coffee. I was able to have the regular Bacon and Eggs. I worked a 3/5 split today as well so my lunch was at 4pm instead of the usual 3pm. As t...

Messing With The 3D Printers Keto/Sobriety Blog Jan 18, 2025

Weight: 351.2 lbs ( 159.3 kg) BMI: 45.1 Waist: 58.5 in (148.6 cm) WtHr: 79.1% Breakfast: Bacon, Strip Steak, and Eggs Lunch: AI Chili Dinner: Pork Steak Snack: Savage Slim Jim Drinks: Sugar Free Red Bull, Diet Arizona Lemonade Tea, Kroger Energy Shot, Kroger Seltzer Sober Month 1 (Day 33) YMCA: X Spent too long last couple of days fiddling with the 3D Printers to make blog posts. The good news is the hex screws that I thought were all stripped out were actually fine, it was just me being too drunk to work on them properly. (Another thing to add to the list of thousands of reasons I'm glad I stopped drinking.) I installed the extruder that I had been wanting to install for a while now. When I looked at Amazon to see how long ago that it's been sitting in my basement waiting for me to get around to install it. It was back in December 2021. That was THREE YEARS AGO. That was three years of, “I want to get back to this thing that I want to be doing.” I kind of feel like I just w...

Plumbing Problems Sobriety Blog Dec 30, 2024

Weight: 349.6 lbs ( 158.6 kg) BMI: 45.4 Waist: 58 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 78.4% Breakfast: Savage Slim Jim Lunch: Bag of Spicy Dill Pickle Chips Dinner: Bar-s Hot Dogs Snack: Bologna and sliced cheese Drinks: 5 Hour Energy, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster Sober Week 1 (Day 14) YMCA: X Probably a bit of TMI in this one So didn't get around to making a post yesterday as the toilet was backing up into the bathtub. This has happened before, but rarely. I was praying that it was just the main sewer line like it was previously. IF that was the case they would just send someone out to clear the line. I called the landlord and he came out while I was at work. But when landlord came out he and Roommate checked the kitchen sink and that wasn't backing up. Meaning it was a clog in the upstairs sewer system. Meaning that the plumber had to go go upstairs. So I spent the free time panic scrubbing the bathroom. That bathroom hasn't been this clean in years. I woke up surprisingly ea...

Just once it'd be nice to go to a store meeting and learn something new. The only thing that seems to have changed was that the “Front End Supervisor” is now the “Customer Assistance Leader” and they've came up with another acronym for us to learn. It must be nice to work in an office where all you do is come up with these things. But on the other hand it is kind of good that they stage kind of “reminder” meetings to remind the people in charge of what the expectations of what we're supposedly supposed to be doing are. But I do agree with the CSM that these really are mostly a waist of time. Especia...
