Woke up with what felt like a hangover. Just couldn't get up and moving. It was 2 in the afternoon by the time I started doing anything. I had a stifling headache all day. I made some Taco Casseroles for the weekly lunch plan. The recipe says that it makes Six Servings. But I think that those are six servings with a salad and a veggie side. I went ahead and made two batches with two servings per dish that I put into the fridge so it would last me all week. It took me a bit longer than I thought it would to cook the two batches of the casserole which is strange because it was just a matter of browning the ground beef, mixing it all together, and then ba...

I'm glad that I have bacon on the shopping list for the week. I was excited last week when I did the inventory and it looked like I had enough Lunch and Dinner components to not have to do grocery shopping this next week. But I'll have to buy more Bacon, Eggs, and Seltzer. And there is a Digital Coupon on Bratwursts (not sponsored) this week and if there's a coupon on something you have to buy that thing right? Had a weird feeling as I was going into work. It was like a light floaty feeling. Have you ever had a heavy sobbing cry? Just wept...

I couldn't convince myself to get to the YMCA. I barely convinced myself to get up early enough to get breakfast. I don't know why I was in such a down mood this morning. I do seem to be getting used to the new time as I'm waking up at the 8am like I've been wanting to. But I just didn't want to get up. Looking it up Omega-3 foods are good for low moods. And Seafood seems to be a good source for that. I'm not sure if I'm hungry enough for Sardines. But I do like Salmon and I do have a recipe for Clam Chowder and Tuna Casserole. I'll pick up the stuff to make those tomorrow. The first half of the day ...

That is 4.5 lbs (2 kg) down for the month. I'm sure a good chunk of that is just water weight. But losing water weight is still getting weight off of my feet. Roommate was a little irritated at me this morning. I'm running low on bacon so I decided to have a strip steak and eggs for breakfast this morning. I have to say that eggs fried in bacon and steak drippings is a good combination. But he uses a CPAP machine and I guess that the smell of the steak cooking in the seasonings was going into the machine and basically punching him in the face. The back of my hands look like lizard s...

Sleep just didn't happen. Google says that Keto Insomnia is a known phenomenon that can last up to four weeks. That would suck. I really don't want to flop around until March. Today was higher than yesterday's, but still considerably lower than the average for the year. I was down 5.4 lbs (2.4 kg) yesterday compared to the day before, I'm not going to be bothered by being up one pound (0.45 kg) today. Since I didn't wake up very well before work I only had a single cup of salted coffee. I was able to have the regular Bacon and Eggs. I worked a 3/5 split today as well so my lunch was at 4pm instead of the usual 3pm. As t...

Messing With The 3D Printers Keto/Sobriety Blog Jan 18, 2025

Weight: 351.2 lbs ( 159.3 kg) BMI: 45.1 Waist: 58.5 in (148.6 cm) WtHr: 79.1% Breakfast: Bacon, Strip Steak, and Eggs Lunch: AI Chili Dinner: Pork Steak Snack: Savage Slim Jim Drinks: Sugar Free Red Bull, Diet Arizona Lemonade Tea, Kroger Energy Shot, Kroger Seltzer Sober Month 1 (Day 33) YMCA: X Spent too long last couple of days fiddling with the 3D Printers to make blog posts. The good news is the hex screws that I thought were all stripped out were actually fine, it was just me being too drunk to work on them properly. (Another thing to add to the list of thousands of reasons I'm glad I stopped drinking.) I installed the extruder that I had been wanting to install for a while now. When I looked at Amazon to see how long ago that it's been sitting in my basement waiting for me to get around to install it. It was back in December 2021. That was THREE YEARS AGO. That was three years of, “I want to get back to this thing that I want to be doing.” I kind of feel like I just w...

Plumbing Problems Sobriety Blog Dec 30, 2024

This has happened before, but rarely. I was praying that it was just the main sewer line like it was previously. IF that was the case they would just send someone out to clear the line. I called the landlord and he came out while I was at work. But when landlord came out he and Roommate checked the kitchen sink and that wasn't backing up. Meaning it was a clog in the upstairs sewer system. Meaning that the plumber had to go go upstairs. So I spent the free time panic scrubbing the bathroom. That bathroom hasn't been this clean in years. I woke up surprisingly ea...

Just once it'd be nice to go to a store meeting and learn something new. The only thing that seems to have changed was that the “Front End Supervisor” is now the “Customer Assistance Leader” and they've came up with another acronym for us to learn. It must be nice to work in an office where all you do is come up with these things. But on the other hand it is kind of good that they stage kind of “reminder” meetings to remind the people in charge of what the expectations of what we're supposedly supposed to be doing are. But I do agree with the CSM that these really are mostly a waist of time. Especia...
