The store has a promotion for $5 dozen donuts and someone had bought several dozen for the break room. I know that I shouldn't have, but I had a couple of them during my 15 minute break as I had worked a 5:3 split today. Having donuts resets the Keto Kount. Woke up with what felt like a hangover. Just couldn't get up and moving. It was 2 in the afternoon by the time I started doing anything. I had a stifling headache all day. I made some Taco Casseroles for the weekly lunch plan. The recipe says that it makes Six Servings. But I think that those are six servings with a salad and a veggie side. I went ahead and made two batches with two servings per dish that I put into the fridge so it would last me all week. I'm glad that I have bacon on the shopping list for the week. I was excited last week when I did the inventory and it looked like I had enough Lunch and Dinner components to not have to do grocery shopping this next week. But I'll have to buy more Bacon, Eggs, and Seltzer. And there is a Digital Coupon on Bratwursts (not sponsored) this week and if there's a coupon on something you have to buy that thing right? But looking at the data of the year that seems to be the pattern. January was pretty flat, February had pretty good progress, March was pretty flat, and then April had good progress, and now May is flat. So I'm not sure if that is normal, but I am making amazing progress for the year. I didn't get a chance to take any notes today. I do remember that there were moments that I wanted to write things down. But good gravy today was swamped busy. It was the Friday of a holiday weekend and there are rumors of bad weather over the next couple of days. Got distracted by Oblivion last night so I didn't get around to posting. Roommate had to take public transportation to get home. When Roommate got back home the guy had left, but he had left a small generator hooked up to the AC unit outside. He did come back to continue working on it. I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't done by lunch. But hey, done well is better than done fast. Should Have Done an A La Carte Breakfast Daily Keto Blog February 23, 2023

And we went to Village Inn for breakfast. I had the Denver Omelet meal. Again not very Keto. I didn't see the A La Carte section on the menu until after I ordered. I'm used to just ordering a meal from the menu. And lately I've been seeing that is getting more and more popular online to order from the A La Carte section off of menus. It looks like it's cheaper and easier to follow the Keto diet when eating out by doing this. And yeah the omelet is good on Keto, but the Hash Browns and Syrup covered Pancakes were definitely not. I do have to say that the pancakes at Village Inn were better than the ones at the Truck Stop that I had last week...
