I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Should Have Done an A La Carte Breakfast Daily Keto Blog February 23, 2023

WtHr: 75%

Breakfast: Village Inn Denver omelet, Unsweetened Ice Tea, hash browns, pancakes with syrup

My roommate, who is a trucker, is on home time this week. And we went to Village Inn for breakfast. I had the Denver Omelet meal. Again not very Keto. I didn't see the A La Carte section on the menu until after I ordered. I'm used to just ordering a meal from the menu. And lately I've been seeing that is getting more and more popular online to order from the A La Carte section off of menus. It looks like it's cheaper and easier to follow the Keto diet when eating out by doing this. And yeah the omelet is good on Keto, but the Hash Browns and Syrup covered Pancakes were definitely not. I do have to say that the pancakes at Village Inn were better than the ones at the Truck Stop that I had last week. And yeah that's saying that truck stop food was worse than a restaurants, but the truck stop really does have a nice restaurant. I haven't been to very many Truck Stops so they might all have nice restaurants. And the truck stop hash browns were better than the Village Inn hash browns. But next time I to Village Inn, I'll try to remember to use the A La Carte menu.

I was going to have some of the Deconstructed Pizza Casserole that I made last night for lunch today, but apparently today was Supermarket Employee Appreciation Day. I'm kind of surprised that I didn't get dizzy by rolling my eyes that hard. And it was also National Chili Day with that combination, they set up a pot of chili in the break room for everybody's lunch. I shouldn't be complaining about a free meal, but that wasn't very good chili. I tried mixing in some cottage cheese. I thought that might have been a good combination, Cheese and sour cream goes good in chili, and cottage cheese does go well with tomato based pasta sauce. It didn't turn out that great today, but I'm going have to try that again with a chili that actually has some flavor in it. I'll have the Deconstructed Pizza Casserole for lunch tomorrow.

I baked some chicken for dinner tonight, I almost over seasoned it. I seasoned one side of the chunk of the frozen chicken that I put in the dish, turned it over seasoned the other side and then turned it back over and started to season it again. But that's what I get for trying to cook while that tired. The chicken did turn out okay. That is the great thing about baked chicken, you can be dead tired and still cook dinner.
