It makes it look like I'm actually making progress and yesterday wasn't just a glitch or one off. I'm not sure if that trend will continue, but it is exciting to “beat” the lowest weight of last year so early in this year. Started out the morning cleaning out the oven. I do have to say that worked out a lot easier than I was expecting to. It was kind of hard as the oven door doesn't come off like in a lot of ovens referenced online in the “how to” videos, or at least I couldn't figure out how to take it off and the positioning of the shelving unit in the corner across the oven made it hard to reach the back left...

Timeline of the 2017 Solar Eclipse

I was going to make this a video, but I have a feeling that if I made this a video it would have been extremely underwhelming.  Because my videos are just me talking to a camera.  And if someone wanted to watch video about a solar eclipse they would not want to watch a video of a guy reading his notes about watching a solar eclipse.  Okay, I'll just go ahead and post this here like someone is going to read it. I was apprehensive about the day because the weather called for clouds. And that morning I woke to thunder. And a good amount of cussing. This was supposed to be a special event, something that only happens once a century and I'm going to miss it because of some flipping rain.
