I thought the scale was glitching, but the weight was consistent for several times I stepped on it. Slept in a bit so I wasn't able to do anything before work other than get breakfast done. The sleep tracker says I didn't fall asleep until after 3am which was strange because I even went to bed a little early. But it was 9:30 before I could wake up, and I still felt tired.  I was slow getting up to the front of the store as I had today and tomorrow mixed up and I had thought that I was supervisor all day, and I didn't think anybody was waiting for me to come up. A major ingredient in most of the energy drinks is known as Taurine. TL;DR They're linking Taurine to Leukemia. Okay, this next part is biased on my understanding and Google searches and suffers from many rewrites to get “right”. The caffeine in the energy drinks doesn't as much give you energy. Brains are weird as it doesn't feel tired until it receives a chemical (adenosine) in a receptor. And Caffeine blocks those receptors so it isn't that you have more energy, you just don't feel the tired. That explains the “caffeine crash” that people have when it fades off.
