But no, no luck there. The sound it made is the sound it makes when the water is used up, but the tank is still full of water and the little stream of fluid that comes out is this nasty looking black fluid. Not coffee black, but darker. I'm guessing that there's a clog in the system somewhere. I'm more than a little annoyed by the coffee pot dying. The last coffee pot lasted like 10 years, and this one couldn't even last 10 months. I did think about getting back to the “Decaffeination” blog. Sleep tracker still says that I didn't fall asleep until close to 3am even though I went to bed around midnight. I do remember waking up in the night to run to the restroom so that might have reset the sleep counter so when I got up to use the restroom and went back to bed it thought the second half was the sleep for the night. The scale was nice. I mean it is frustrating to have the exact same number as it was yesterday. But that still is the lowest weight of this year and last. Not sure what's going on. I feel dragging tired when going to bed, but when I go to bed I'm wired for sound. I was surprised to see the weight on the scale this morning. I stood on it several times and it gave me the same number four times in a row, so it is probably accurate. At first I was impressed with the 3.2 lb (1.5 kg) drop, but what got me really excited was this was the weight that was the lowest weight of 2024! All of 2025 I've been wanting to get down to the lowest point of last year. Now to see if I'll be able to stick to that low of a weight. The Absolute Idiot messed up the Financial projection again.
