Weight: 318.8 lbs ( 144.6 kg) BMI: 40.9 Waist: 53 in ( 134.6 cm) WtHr: 71.6% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Southwestern Detox Soup   Dinner: Cheeseburger Patties Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Year 1 (Day 398) Keto Week 1 (Day 14) (17/365 Days 2026 Keto) Nice to see down on the scale and the waistline. The down on both of those are showing the lowest points of both of those numbers for the year so far. I spent a lot of the day cleaning up the tags on the blog and looking over them it looks like this is the lowest weight I've recorded since I started this format of the blog. I'm thinking about coming up with more “short goals” as most of the goals on my weight are above the current short goal of 310 lbs Roommate was up in his room taking a nap and the dog started whining at the back door. I think the dog just wanted to go outside just to sniff at everything. It was freaking cold outside. We've been really lucky this winter and it...

NICE Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog Feb 24, 2025

Weight: 343.4 lbs ( 155.7 kg) BMI: 44.1 Waist: 57 in (144.8 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Garlic Melody Pork Chops Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster Keto Week 1 (Day 8) Sober Month 2 (Day 69) nice Pretty nice number of days sober. Roommate had a couple of doctor's appointments this morning. He's a bit nervous about his FMLA and Insurance continuing. He's not that worried about his job because he's planning on quitting anyway. But he'd prefer to wait until his medical stuff is paid for, but that's his plan. The thing I'm nervous about is every time he goes to the doctor they extend the estimated time he's going back to work. When he came home in December, he'd just be home until the end of January, oh wait, the middle of February, or the middle of March, now he'll “totally” be back to work by the beginning of April. Or is it going to be August. (Joke) I cooked bacon and eggs for br...

Weight: 343.4 lbs ( 155.7 kg) BMI: 44.1 Waist: 57 in (149.9 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs   Lunch: Bacon Cheeseburger Soup Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Keto Day 3 Sober Month 1 (Day 58) Last night when I went to bed I felt strangely hungry. I had just ate a pretty good sized Pork Steak. That's all I had, but I was satisfied after dinner. But a couple of hours later my stomach was kind of rumbly Today started off AMAZINGLY I woke up and today was down 4.8 lbs (2.1 kg) waist is down 2in (5 cm) and the Rent and Grocery Checks came through on the same day that the Pay Check came in. I'm always holding my breath for the week or two it takes for the Rent Check to come through. So it is always a massive relief when it comes in. The challenge for today is not to spend any money. And I made it through the day without spending anything. This is one of my goals. Sure I didn't spend as much on soda as I did on beer, b...

Weight: 343.4 lbs (155.8 kg) BMI: 44.1 Waist: 57.0 in (144.8 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: 4x Nathans Colossal Hot Dogs with mustard Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Coffee with cream, Kroger energy shot, 1800ml water Days Without Beer 4 Another day when I woke up well rested, but the urge to get out of bed was really low. The first alarm went off at 6am and if I had a bit more drive I could have gotten up then. But the question of “Get up and do what?” didn't have an answer. I really do need to find an answer for this question. Maybe getting up and getting some exercise or something. Maybe learn to do some stretches. Because as it is alarms go off at six in the morning and I end up going back to sleep because bed is really comfy and I don't have any reasons to get up in the morning. I did get out of bed a lot earlier than I normally do. 7:45 compared to the usual nine or so. But thinking about it that might just be because of the recent daylight savings time c...
