Sobriety Blog Wednesday October 22, 2025

Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Keto Sobriety Blog Wednesday September 24, 2025

Weight: 336.4 lbs ( 152.6 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Steak and Eggs Lunch: Pizza Soup https://youtu.be/Ow6p41Hqt1o Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 9 (Day 275) Keto Week Day 1 Really disappointed at the scale this morning. I know that happiness is not a number on the scale, but the weight this morning resets the entire weight for the month. Still down 10.3 lbs for the year. I'm not sure if it was the bad breakfast that I had yesterday or what caused the weight gain today. Or if it explained the pain today. But my left foot was really sore all day long. And later in the evening my right butt cheek started feeling sore. Possibly because of compensating for the sore foot. Too wiped out from work to make a full post. I was scheduled to close the desk so I was supposed to get off at 9pm, but right at 8:30 when I was going to start doing the closing reports there was a swa...

Weight: 336.4 lbs ( 152.6 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Bar-s Jumbo Jumbo Hot Dogs Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Unsweetened Tea Sober Month 8 (Day 253) Keto Week 1 (Day 8) The page count on the writing program says that this is the 600th page that I wrote for this blog. I keep it to one page before I post it on here. I haven't made 600 posts on this blog. I'm not sure where to look to see how many posts I've made. It hasn't always been a Sobriety or even Keto Blog, I will be proud to get up to 600 on either of those counts though.  Wow, up 8 lbs in two days. It would be unwise to blame all of that gain on one thing, but I don't think I'll have any of those Jumbo Jumbo Hot Dogs anymore. Feet, ankles, and left hip were really grumpy this morning. And my gut felt like it was overfilled. Like uncomfortably stuffed, even though I hadn't eaten in almost 12 ho...

Mouth Hungry Daily Blog March 16, 2023

Weight: 336.4 lbs ( 153.1 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 55 in ( 139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Not hungry Lunch: Ribs Dinner: BBQ Slow Cooked Chuck Roast Drinks: Pot of Coffee, 12 pk Bud Light    When I woke up this morning I was going to cook up some bacon and eggs like I normally do, but I really wasn't hungry. I convinced myself that I was just cooking breakfast out of habit. And when I started writing this out I started getting hungry, but I'm pretty sure that's just because I'm thinking about food. I call this effect “Mouth Hungry” a quick google search shows that “Mouth Hungry” is a term used by other people and has different meanings for what I've used it for. But it is important to remember that physical hunger is different from emotional and/or mental for taste of hunger.      Strange weather today. When I woke up it was almost 60 (15 c) but some heavy clouds moved in. The forecast for this afternoon was 36 (2 C) The way the sky darkened and wind picked u...

Drinking More Water Daily Blog February 5, 2023

Weight: 336.4 lbs ( 152.5 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 55 in ( 139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Southwest style Chicken “Detox” soup Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Couple cups of Coffee, 1800ml Water      Happiness isn't a number on the scale but nobody ever says that when they're actually losing weight. But I'm really not sure what's going on with my weight. I'm trying to not beat myself up too much, fluctuations happen but almost every weigh in so far this month has been an up. It's still down for the year and it's still lower than the average weight for last month. So overall progress, but a rough week. I don't know if it was the mac and cheese that I ate a few nights ago but somehow I doubt that something I ate three days ago will still be effecting me.      I was able to get a weekly weigh in video done. It's a rough weigh in considering that this is the first weigh in for February and the first weigh in video that showed an...

Daily Food Blog 8/22/18

Weight: 336.4 lbs Waist: 53.5 Mood: impressed Breakfast: Coffee with a tablespoon of coconut oil Lunch: Cheeseburger Patties, Bratwurst Dinner: Deli Fried Chicken Snack: Sirloin Pork Chops Notes: I haven't been tracking my weight loss or food intake like I have been wanting to lately. No real excuse outside of just being lazy. Which is a running problem for me. But I have been walking to work recently. I think that might have contributed to the FOUR FREAKING POUNDS I lost over the last week or so. I am excited that I am once again down for the year on weight and for the first time this year being down on waist. Feet still hurt, but I think that's more because my shoes are starting to get worn out than because of my weight. Although the walking to work might be adding to that a bit as well. I was a bit nervous this morning standing on the scale because I did break the Keto diet last night, eating a rack of ribs with mac and cheese and a 1.25 L of Pepsi...
