I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. A major ingredient in most of the energy drinks is known as Taurine. TL;DR They're linking Taurine to Leukemia. Okay, this next part is biased on my understanding and Google searches and suffers from many rewrites to get “right”. The caffeine in the energy drinks doesn't as much give you energy. Brains are weird as it doesn't feel tired until it receives a chemical (adenosine) in a receptor. And Caffeine blocks those receptors so it isn't that you have more energy, you just don't feel the tired. That explains the “caffeine crash” that people have when it fades off. Still can't seem to spell sobriety properly. I don't think that I've gone 100 days without alcohol since I was 21. Not that I've been struggling with it for that long. I printed out the front half of the left forearm of the costume I'm working on. When it finished it was quite satisfying how well it matched up with the back half of the forearm that I printed several years ago. I had to cut the part up a little more because the new printer isn't big enough to print it off in one piece. But a bit of duct tape is holding it together right now. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right, but when I feel that type of cramp coming on I keep my feet straight and walk around for a moment and it usually keeps the cramp from coming on. But I did remember to take my potassium and magnesium supplements when I got up and going. I'll be honest I forgot to go to the Y this morning. It was later in the afternoon and, Oh, yeah. I was going to do something. It is kind of disappointing. When I started the week I was thinking as I am on vacation this week there isn't any excuses against going. But I only went once. Not sure what's going on there. They haven't been hurting much this week, but now they feel like I'm back to what it was like when I started the year.  I had steak and eggs for breakfast because I'm going to try to stretch out the bacon if I can.   My smartwatch has a feature that scans the Muscle/Fat/Water content of the body when I weigh in each morning. Not feeling bad, or “down” just really, really tired. I'm blaming the weather. It was pretty dark and gloomy today. I posted at 11pm and then went to strait to bed. I was going to read for a while, but laid right down. The sleep tracker says that I didn't sleep until 2:15am, and I believe it. I'm not sure why it was so hard to fall asleep. I didn't have very many energy drinks yesterday. I tried to avoid energy drinks today to see if I would sleep better tonight. I did have a monster at lunch, but that's not as many as I'd normally have. And I thought I'd try the Gatorade, Powerade is cheaper so I had one of those later in the day.
