It is good that the waist is down. It's been a while since it was that far down. I'm pretty sure that 51 inches is the record. I worked 12 to 9 today so I had some extra time before work. When I woke up Step-Dad was already cooking sausage and eggs for breakfast. And as I was sitting around before work I started on the script for the next Store Story. A new record over the last 12 years. Only 16.5 lbs (7.5 kg) away from the lowest weight on record. Saying “Only” in that context seems silly writing it out, but so far I'm down 18 lbs (8.2 kg) since the beginning of the year and down 28.7 lbs (13 kg) from this day last year. I'm making some rocking progress on the scale, but I seemed to have lost the tape measure again so I'm not sure how the waistline is doing. Dropping under the average for the month. Still up for the month, but under the average. And a reminder why one shouldn't really sweat too much on the daily fluctuations. I had to work at 9am and unfortunately I pulled myself out of bed at around 8. And it's nice that both the scale and waistline is measuring down. Typically lately when the scale is down the waist is up. Happiness is not a number on the scale/tape measure, but it is nice to have progress again. Not quite progress as I'm still up 1.8 lbs for the month, but down 12.9 lbs for the year. Mom offered to take a pork steak out of the freezer for me. She said that she and Step-Dad will be done eating long before I get home so I can grill it myself. I was a bit annoyed by my phone as it wasn't perfectly on the charge plate last night so when I woke up this at 7am morning it was only 45% charged. It should be thawed out by tomorrow I'll try to bake it tomorrow before work. Ladies, Gentlemen, In-betweens, and Undecideds: I am proud to announce that I am no longer Morbidly Obese. For the first time in 10 almost 11 years I woke up with a weight that has a BMI under 40. This morning's weight was 310.2 which is a BMI of 39.8. Still obese, so still a ways to go. But at least I'm finally seeing progress. I'm kind of impatient this morning as this Thursday I'll be paying the monthly bills for April. When I woke up this morning my right ear felt plugged up. Nose was drippy all day long. Not enough snot to get a good blow to clear the entire thing, just a bit of annoying little stream.
