Two Weeks Sober Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog December 10, 2023

Weight: 336.2 lbs (152.5 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 57.5 in (146.1 cm) WtHr: 76.4% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Green Bean Casserole Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Couple cups of Coffee black, A couple of cans of Kroger Seltzer Water Strawberry Lemonade Weeks Sober 2 (Day 15) Had a hard time getting the weekly weigh in done today. Kind of a hard time getting up and going. It was nice to be down almost a pound and a half from last week. It had been a frustrating trend for a while each week I've been down for each week, but the weight had been up from the Saturday's post. But this week I'm down for the week and also for the day. I am grateful that today was another slow and smooth day at work. When I got there I was told that the Customer Service Manager was wanting me to update the closing reports for the new year. It really isn't hard to do (but it did take all day to do) All that needed to be done was rename each file, change the dates inside the file, and clear the da

Fools April Keto Blog Daily April 1, 2023

Weight: 149.7 kg ( 330.0 lbs) BMI: 42.4 Waist: 139.7 cm ( 55 in) HtWr: 135% Breakfast: Eggs and Bacon Lunch: Soup Pizza Dinner: Wurst brat Drinks: cream with coffee of Pot, Water Sparkling, Water ~30oz, Shot Energy Kroger      This blog post is going to be April 1st, AKA April Fool's day. I was thinking about making the entire blog post by making all of the words in alphabetical order. But 1. That would be a serious pain in the ass. 3. I'm sure no one would get the joke. And 2. It's likely nobody would see it until the next day anyway.      Woke up with some strange pain in the feet. There was the rolling pain like I had the other day. But only when I stood up the first time. It actually made me sit right back down. But when I stood back up it was gone. Legs were a bit sore, but only until I started moving around. They haven't felt this good since January, when I was last doing good on my diet consistently. My back has been a bit sore all day though. It feels

Working on 3D Printers Daily Keto Blog March 20, 2023

Weight: 333.4 lbs ( 151.2 kg) BMI: 42.8 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Kroger Cheddar Bratwursts Dinner: Corned Beef Drinks: Pot of coffee Spent most of last night like a rotisserie chicken, just spinning around in bed. I'm pretty sure that it was close to 4am before I got to sleep. The three energy shots yesterday was probably to blame. I was going to try to get the 3D printers working, but it was almost noon before I even got out of bed. And I do realize that it is a strange complaint to sleep in until noon. But that really kinds of messes up your day. I did realize that I did a carnivore day as I set up the slow cooker. I did kick myself for running to the store to pick up some more bratwursts and bacon. I really didn't need to spend more money today. I have two 3D printers one I call Big Guy, and the other I call little bro. Big guy is the bigger of the printers it is a Creality Cr10s printer it has a build volume of 500mm cu

I did run to the store to grab some more cream for my coffee. I did catch myself staring at the beer cooler. I noticed that one of the beers had a tagline on it that read, “The only one with beer in it” Kind of makes me wonder what the other ones have in them. I picked up some cheddar bratwursts because it was strange to go to the store for just one thing. But that's what I should have done I didn't need to spend money on bratwursts.      I uploaded The General Update video that I would like to do on the first Monday of every month. I do realize that today is Tuesday and I want to have Tuesdays to be recipe videos. But I figured since I missed the video yesterday I'll just made the general update video today. I was going to wor

A short one Daily Blog March 4, 2023

Weight: 337.8 lbs ( 153.2 kg) BMI: 43.4 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Tacos Del Alambre Dinner: Kroger Cheddar Bratwursts Drinks:Kroger energy shot, 5 hour energy shot      Slept in too long to get anything done before work this morning. Not sure what happened, but as least I finally got eight hours of sleep. But I was still very low energy all day. When I got home from work I finally got around to logging my spending. This is something I really need to do every single day, but I just hadn't the last week or so. I really haven't been following any of my plans. They really aren't hard plans it's just a matter of discipline      This is a really short post because it's a bit of a rush job. I spent too long after work logging my spending re-balancing graphs to put much thought into the blog. If I was doing this everyday like I want to be doing it wouldn't have been an issue, but here we are.

Calling the Off Keto Experiment Daily Blog February 27, 2023

Weight: 338.8 lbs ( 153.7 kg) BMI: 43.5 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Taco John's Meat and Potato Burrito with a soft shell taco and cheese with the Oles, Dr Pepper Dinner: Kroger Cheddar Bratwursts Drinks: Pot of Coffee, Kroger energy shot      I didn't start the blog this morning. When I stood on the scale and it said 338.8 lbs I thought about giving up the blog thing altogether. I haven't been doing my diet the last several days and why even bother doing a Keto blog if I'm not even doing Keto? I keep telling myself that I'm not a failure just because I'm not following a diet, or just because I have some weigh ins that are tracking upwards. But honestly I'm not sure how much of that is telling myself that or how much I'm believing that. I need to get more done in my life. I do have several videos that I want to work on if I ever find the energy to do. I have dreams of being a YouTuber, but that'll only h

Weight: 332.4 lbs ( 150.8 kg) BMI: 42.7 Waist: 55 in ( 139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: “Complete omelet” meal from Applewood truck stop, (omelet, hash browns, pancakes, iced tea) Lunch: Hot Dogs Dinner: Kroger Cheddar Bratwursts My roommate is a trucker and he was passing through town today so we agreed to meet to catch breakfast and catch up. He discovered an AI chat bot that is helping him write a novel. He's encouraging me to use it to improve my YouTube channel, and I might look into using it to improve my blog. I might look into it, but I'm kind of nervous about having an AI to take over my videos or blogs. I chose the complete omelet because it seemed to be the thing that had the least carbs in it. Of course that meal comes with hash browns and pancakes. I know that I could have asked them to hold off on those, but I didn't have the guts to ask. It probably seems silly, but I didn't want to be a complicated customer. And of course there wasn't anyone sho

Was kind of impressed that I was down from last week, but it was up 5 pounds from yesterday. I'm pretty sure that the up has to do with the clothes I wear for the videos. So I'm not too worried about the up today.      Was kind of annoyed when I got to work. I forgot my phone and my water bottle. But when I got to work there was a note on today's daily schedule saying that water bottles are not allowed at the registers. Technically this was always the case. But some of the managers looked the other way when someone had some water with them. But now they're cracking down on it. This is a bit annoying because I was getting my water drank because I had just bought a water

“Demonic Rice Krispies” Daily Blog January 12, 2023

Shoulders, back, elbows, knees, and especially the ankles are popping and crackling like crazy. There's not any pain in any of my joints, so I don't think there's anything wrong with my joints. This happens when I'm doing good on my Keto diet. Last time I noticed this was back in October of 2020! I had mentioned the effect in a half written blog post that I didn't upload. A recent live stream that Doctor Ken Berry made someone asked him about cracking knees, and he played it off as something that just happens when you get into your 30's; I am 36 years old but I really don't have the popping and cracking nearly as much when I'm not doing my diet. Doc Berry said if there wasn't any pain in the join

Weight 357.6 BMI: 45.9 Waist: 57.5 WtHr: 78% Breakfast: -X- slept in Lunch: Italian Sandwich from deli (sans bread) Sugar Free Monster Energy Dinner: Grilled Cheddar Bratwursts, Ranch dressing (used as a condiment) 12 pk Corona Hard Seltzer   I've heard (several times, from multiple sources) that skipping breakfast is a way to continue the state of “fasting” which is a way that your body relies on its fat deposits. But lately, to be honest, I've been just lingering in bed until I determine that I've laid in bed long enough and I really need to get up. I really need to get more motivated in my life. I have so many things that I want to do, and work on. There really isn't a valid excuse for me to not do anything until I have to go to work. But when I did finally did get up I thought I would try this project again.  For my “lunch break” (which was at around 3pm). I had an Italian sandwich that the deli has for sell. I didn't eat the bread of the sandwich because I

Weight: 356.8 (161.8 kg) Waist: 56.5 (143.5 cm) Breakfast: Bacon, Eggs, Loaded Coffee Lunch: Chili with cheese, Sugar free Rockstar energy Dinner: Baked “Cheddar” Bratwursts Michelob Ultra Infusions Lime and Prickly Pear   Loaded coffee is Coffee with cream, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, fiber supplement and this Torani sugar free seasoning that I picked up from the store. This time around I picked up the caramel flavor, there are other flavors. I think I'll pick up vanilla next. Carmel isn't bad, but this bottle of flavoring lasts for a really long time. I have thought about picking up a Keurig. The coffee pot that I currently have is a 12 cup pot and I live by myself, so whenever I get in the mood to drink some coffee I'm driven to drink the whole pot of coffee, somehow I don't think that's a good idea. I think that's still better than drinking soda, which I'm still trying to quit. I did feel better today that I have in a while. I'm not

Not sure if anyone cares, or if I should even bother. I tell myself that I'm doing it to get in the habit of counting calories. But I rarely get very driven to keep up on this. I would “like” to do keto. But that does take a bit of doing to get into the habit of eating certain things. And a lot of my problems in general is getting into a habit of doing things. My main problem is the sin of Sloth. I spend way too much time just sitting around waiting for things to get better. I'm starting to get the hint that it's not going to “just get better.” So I need to get up and start MAKING it better. Scale is ac

I did manage to go to bed at a reasonably decent time last night as I went to bed around midnight. I'm trying to get eight hours of sleep per night. But I just could not fall asleep. I was just tossing and turning until about 4. And then woke up around 8. But I am writing this part around noon. And I still can't seem to get going Today was rough. It was really hard to get past the “autopilot” I worked 2-11 today and I'm glad that most of the time I was a cashier and he hour or two I was a FES I am thankful that it was slow. I think the main problem that I am having is that I just didn't sleep as much as I should have this week. Monday night I acciden

I never really wanted to stop, I just didn't do it. The same with the Keto diet. I new it was what I wanted to do, but I just didn't do it. And now I'm back on the diet and wow, I can feel a difference, both physically and mentally. I've been back on the Keto diet for about a week or two now and I could feel the day that I got back into Ketosis. It felt like a cloud flowed through and out of my body and now I'm feeling just constant bursts of energy. Although that could just be the pot of coffee I just now finished off. But then again coffee didn't used to have such a strong effect on me. There have been times where I've drunken an entire pot of coffee and then feel like taking a nap. But now I fee

Weight: 341.1 lbs Waist: 54.5 Breakfast: 5 pack Cheddar Bratwurst Lunch: Deli Baked Chicken Dinner: 3x apple-wood smoked bacon cheeseburger patties, chili, 2 liter sprite Notes: I haven't been doing these recently, but to be fair, I haven't done much of anything lately. I think an idea I had to save me time has backfired on me. Trying to save my computer I had started adding all of the videos of the YouTube channels I am subscribed to to the “watch later” playlist. And now I'm a week and a half behind on my video watching. I even started a spreadsheet tracking how much time is left in the playlist. (currently at 2 days 15 hours 35 minutes and 6 seconds for 362 videos) and it is growing each day. I have been waking up each day staring at my watch later playlist until I have to go to work or go back to bed. So I haven't been getting my own videos done, I haven't been planing out my meals. I haven't even been cleaning my house.
