Getting Ready For Next Month Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog October 31, 2023

Weight: 340.0 lbs (154.5 kg) BMI: 43.6 Waist: 57.5 in (146.1 cm) WtHr: 77.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Low Carb Goulash Dinner: Slapdash Chili Drinks: Pot of coffee, 3600ml water  Weeks Without Beer 1 (10 Days)      Yeah, today's weight is up compared to yesterday's post, but I'm trying to tell myself that's just because daily fluctuations. Many places online say that a daily weigh in is just not a good thing to do. But I'm just such a data junkie I hate to see any gaps in the data. I'm going to guess the up for today is just water weight, I drank a lot of water last night. And I was forcing myself to eat those pork rinds last night.      Didn't have a headache this morning, but feet and calves are sore whenever I stand up. I think I've been spending too much time at my desk over the last couple of days. Today I did get the recipe video for Tuesday edited and uploaded. And an inventory for the meal plan for the next seven days. I've also be

But as I got up and moving they loosened up. My heels were still grumpy at me and I think that they will be with me until I get back under 330 lbs (149 kg). I think next week I'll pick up a pair of insoles to see if that helps with the foot pain. I'm glad that I have tomorrow off. I'm going to spend it here at my computer. Hopefully editing videos. But I might get into Minecraft and do that for a bit. A bit grumpy that my weight is up today compared to yesterday. It's only up 1.4 pounds, and I know that a daily weigh in will fluctuate, and I'm telling myself that I'm still down 4.6 pounds for the week and 3 pounds d

Weight: 336.6 lbs ( 152.7 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Instant Pot Chili Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Pot of Coffee, 2700ml water      I was a bit impatient when frying the eggs this morning so I ended up scrambling them. I threw a few slices of cheese in with them so, sure cheesy scrambled eggs with bacon. I'm sure that Chef Ramsay would have gone into seizures if he would have seen what I called “scrambled eggs”      I did manage to get the dishes done. There is a satisfying feeling looking at a cleaned room, I need to get around to cleaning more of my house. I did laundry last week and unlike the last couple of times I did laundry I put my clothes away. It seems like a simple thing, but it really does make a difference when waking up looking at a room full of clean clothes in baskets waiting to be put away and the dirty clothes everywhere vs clothes put away and the few days of clothes in the basket.      For lu

Should Have Done an A La Carte Breakfast Daily Keto Blog February 23, 2023

Weight: 332.6 lbs ( 150.9 kg) BMI: 42.7 Waist: 55.5in ( 141 cm) WtHr: 75% Breakfast: Village Inn Denver omelet, Unsweetened Ice Tea, hash browns, pancakes with syrup Lunch: Chili with cottage cheese Dinner: Baked chicken Drinks: 2x Kroger energy shots, ~3600ml water      My roommate, who is a trucker, is on home time this week. And we went to Village Inn for breakfast. I had the Denver Omelet meal. Again not very Keto. I didn't see the A La Carte section on the menu until after I ordered. I'm used to just ordering a meal from the menu. And lately I've been seeing that is getting more and more popular online to order from the A La Carte section off of menus. It looks like it's cheaper and easier to follow the Keto diet when eating out by doing this. And yeah the omelet is good on Keto, but the Hash Browns and Syrup covered Pancakes were definitely not. I do have to say that the pancakes at Village Inn were better than the ones at the Truck Stop that I had last week

Weight: 334.2 lbs ( 151.6 kg) BMI: 42.9 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 73.6% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Instant Pot Chili Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: 2x 5 hour energy shots      Didn't wake up in time to cook the pizza casserole, but it's not going anywhere anytime soon. I'm really starting so see that spending my days off cooking is the thing to do. Last night was strange. I was just so damned wiped out after work I couldn't do anything. And that was even before I cooked the Velveeta dinner so I couldn't even blame it on the carbs in that.      I even woke up this morning tired. That might be the carbs from dinner last night, but I did stay up later than I should have. I had a hard time getting going this morning. Feet and legs did feel rough this morning. I even slept in too long to have any coffee. I did have a couple of energy shots over the day. I would NOT recommended the watermelon flavored one. That one was just nasty.      Had a reminder

Didn't have much get up and go this morning. Not sure if that was because of the Mac and cheese last night, the cool cloudy weather, or just comfy bed. But I just couldn't get started today. I didn't have time to drink any coffee, so that might effect me during the day.      Today was a very slow day at the store. Which was strange as it is the first Saturday of the month and it is a very nice sunny day. We also had a lot of help at the store, the customer service manager told me a few weeks ago that she was going to start scheduling more people and I guess this is the result of that. I'm writing this part out at lunchtime, so I might be shooting myself in the foot. Spea

Hoppy Year of the Rabbit Daily Blog January 22, 2023

Weight: 332.6 lbs ( 150.9 kg) BMI: 42.7 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: X Lunch: Instant Pot Chili Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: cup of coffee, Tap water      Hoppy Year of the Rabbit! Astrology is BS, but the Year of the Rabbit is supposedly good luck for Tigers as well. Either that or people who write horoscopes don't make much money telling people that they'll have poor luck in the coming year.      Too busy this morning making weekly weigh in video to cook breakfast, had a cup of coffee but I'd hardly call that an actual breakfast.      I can't really think of anything to say. Work was really smooth. Not much really happened. We did have one kid call in sick, but he was just a carry out for a couple of hours. The other kid that seems to throw a tantrum to even be told to put things in bags seemed to want to work today. And it was really quiet for a Sunday afternoon when the Chiefs aren't playing. I was scheduled to work late running th

Weight: 342 lbs ( 155.1 kg) BMI: 43.9 Waist: 57 in ( 144.8 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: Bacon Lunch: Chili Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Tap water      Had to convince myself to do the blog thing. Started off being up two pounds from the previous day. And then the guy who came to pick up my car pointed out that I signed the wrong place on my cars title so he couldn't take the car. I basically signed the title as the buyer AND the seller. Tow guy said that I'd have to have an attorney look at it before it could be towed off. He left with a, “Have a nice day” so I was unsure if that meant that he was sending someone to settle it or if I had to contact a lawyer myself which I definitely don't have the money for. My sister told me that I'd just have to go to the tag office and they can fix it, by either printing a new title or some other way. She assured me that it wouldn't cost very much, which is good because I really don't have very much. The concern I have wit

But the great thing about the Instant Pot (not sponsored) is that once it gets to the end of the time of it's pressure cooking it will depressurize and just keep the food warm. And the great thing about chili (not sponsored) is that the longer that it sits in low warmth the better the flavor gets. (I think that's how that works anyway)      Ran home for lunch to have some chili. And in the instant pot it's only supposed to be under pressure for 35 minutes and when I got home it was kept warm for three and a half hours. It turned out quite spicy. Could have used a bit of cheese. But in my opinion just about everything could use a bit of cheese.      Baked some chicken for dinn

Weight: 340.8 lbs (154.6 kg) BMI: 43.8 Waist: 56. (142.2 cm) WtHr: 76.4% Breakfast: Bacon and fried eggs Lunch: Chili Dogs Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: pot of coffee, several glasses of water      My scale is teasing me! (joke) I was so excited to be back in the 330's (~149-153 kg) I haven't been under 340 since February 2020 and I haven't been consistently under 340 lbs (154 kg) since early 2019. I know that daily weight fluctuations happen, but it would be nice to be back in the 330's I remember back when I was fluctuating back around 339-340 when I was under 340's my feet felt SO much better. I do know that when I'm under 350 lbs (159 kg) I have a lot more energy. So under 350 (159 kg) I have more energy, under 340 lbs (154 kg) my feet stop hurting, I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm going to feel when I'm under 330lbs (150 kg) and 320 lbs (145 kg)    Once again I was in an amazing mood on the way to work and as soon as I walk in the door

Waist: Can't find my measuring tape Weight: 362.4 (164.4kg) BMI: 45.3 Breakfast: Smoked Sausages Lunch: Ham and Beans Dinner: Chili Snack: Deli Chicken Tenders, Sugar Free Rockstar energy   I'm a bit frustrated that I couldn't find my tape measure to get a measurement of my waist. But I doubt it changed much just yet. I didn't post yesterday. I woke up late and just didn't feel good all day. I don't know if it was Keto flu, Seasonal Affective Disorder, or what but I was sitting around with absolutely no GO. Still kind of struggling to find the energy to write this out. Picked up some Bar S Smoked Polish Sausages from Walmart the other day. I have to say, those things were nasty. The Kroger version is a lot better. Had some ham and beans and chili that I had left over from Christmas at my Aunt's house. I was going to make a meal plan for the week, but the last couple of days I haven't really had the energy to do much other than sit here at

This time around I picked up the caramel flavor, there are other flavors. I think I'll pick up vanilla next. Carmel isn't bad, but this bottle of flavoring lasts for a really long time. I have thought about picking up a Keurig. The coffee pot that I currently have is a 12 cup pot and I live by myself, so whenever I get in the mood to drink some coffee I'm driven to drink the whole pot of coffee, somehow I don't think that's a good idea. I think that's still better than drinking soda, which I'm still trying to quit. I did feel better today that I have in a while. I'm not

I would tell her not to worry, but that that's kind of her job. She recommended a YouTube channel known as FlyLady to me to help with my lack of organizational skills. Ironically I haven't had time to check out her channel yet I was able to wake up early enough to cook breakfast. Bacon and eggs are good for Keto, but I'm not sure if I'll want to have this every single day. Cooked a large pot of chili yesterday so had leftovers. This is basically my weight loss plan, financial plan, time saving plans coming together. So many things work out when I plan out my meals and since I live by myself (mostly, my roommate is a trucker) I cook a large casserole or a large pot of soup and separate it into individual servings. Had chili for lunch. And had Ch

Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: was going to have pork chops, but they went bad on me Dinner: Chili Snack: Chicken Tenders, Sugar free Rockstar Energy I've also drank a lot of soda today. I didn't keep track. I've been wanting to quit drinking soda. But I've been falling for the sales recently. I think I'm going to start leaving my debit card at home when I go to work. For someone who wants to be a Blogger/Vlogger I don't seem to put much effort into my desired profession. I don't know what has gotten a hold of me lately I just can't seem to get moving on anything. It is probably depression. I was meaning to visit a doctor earlier this year. Not exactly for depression itself. More because the last time I've even had a checkup was back when I was in middle school when I was joining the track team. But then the GREAT PESTILENCE decided to hit. So yeah, sorry. I keep saying that I want to do the Keto diet, and I do follow it for a b

Weight: 341.1 lbs Waist: 54.5 Breakfast: 5 pack Cheddar Bratwurst Lunch: Deli Baked Chicken Dinner: 3x apple-wood smoked bacon cheeseburger patties, chili, 2 liter sprite Notes: I haven't been doing these recently, but to be fair, I haven't done much of anything lately. I think an idea I had to save me time has backfired on me. Trying to save my computer I had started adding all of the videos of the YouTube channels I am subscribed to to the “watch later” playlist. And now I'm a week and a half behind on my video watching. I even started a spreadsheet tracking how much time is left in the playlist. (currently at 2 days 15 hours 35 minutes and 6 seconds for 362 videos) and it is growing each day. I have been waking up each day staring at my watch later playlist until I have to go to work or go back to bed. So I haven't been getting my own videos done, I haven't been planing out my meals. I haven't even been cleaning my house.
