Slept surprisingly well last night considering that I was drinking caffeinated Sugar Free Dr Pepper last night before bed. I still stayed up too late last night. Still wanting to work on getting to bed on time. Maybe tonight.
My left foot was kind of sore all day. It was like a residual soreness. I'm sure that losing weight is going to be massively beneficial to helping with foot pain. But I can't help but be paranoid about it. Also I'm still peeing like a horse. I'm pretty sure that getting into the ketosis makes people drop a lot of water weight the first week or two of the diet. Urine isn't dark so I'm not sure if it's me getting into Ketosis and dumping water weight, or just because I'm drinking too much of this seltzer water.
Since I went to bed late I slept in late. I was kind of confused most of the morning. I usually wake up at about 8am no matter what time I go to bed, but today I woke up closer to 9. And that just threw off my time all morning. It was strange that I was finishing breakfast close to 10:30. For a little bit I was thinking that maybe I was getting ready for Daylight Savings Time. But that's over a month away. And the “Spring Forward” would change 10:30 into 11:30.
It might be because of the weather. The last couple of days was really quite nice. Even getting up into the mid Sixties. But today I guess it decided that it was still winter out there and today was dark and cloudy and today it only got up to 28F (-2 C) Heck, according to the weather websites it was warmer at midnight (31F <-0.5C> ) than it was in the afternoon. I saw it joked online that the weather dropped from 63 to 25 like it saw a cop.
I took inventory of the freezer to make a meal plan for the week. And then spent all day cooking and cleaning up in turns. I'm not planning on making any videos for a bit. But I did buy some stuff to resupply the freezer. I cooked another batch of Bacon Cheeseburger Soup for the lunch planning. And as I again didn't have enough different meats to have a plan for the entire week I set up a batch of Basic Chili for dinner. With the weather being as it was I was going to make some Taco Chili, but looking over the ingredients involved has three kinds of beans and hominy (a grain) which doesn't sound very Ketogenic. I still think that a home cooked recipe would be better than anything processed, but I decided to go with the regular Basic Chili. Holding off on the beans as those have carbs in them. Roommate was kind of upset that there weren't any beans in it. And it was a bit sharp without the beans to mellow it out. But I didn't have any leftovers.
It is kind of funny that I had a steak for lunch and a recipe for dinner. That's kind of backwards of the plan.
I was going to get a haircut today, but I spent too much on groceries again today with the chili, cheeseburger soup, stroganoff, roasts, and some steaks. I had to get some replacement stuff for the stroganoff that I was planning on making as the ingredients that I had for it had gone bad on me.
