I thought the scale was glitching again, but each time I stood on the scale it gave me the same (ish) number! That's the lowest weight so far this year. That's 0.8 lbs (0.4 kg) pounds from the lowest weight last year. Yesterday they called me to ask if I wanted to come in an hour early to cover somebody's lunch because the lady who was supposed to do that lunch had a doctor's notice that she can't work for the next several days. I agreed because I was kind of shorted on hours this week. I didn't realize that I was volunteering for a 6:2 split day. When I got there the trans person at self checkout asked me if I was coming in to be Super...

Keto Day 7
Sober Month 1 (Day 46)

That's a good start to the month. Again happiness is not a number on the scale, but I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't have been in quite the mood that I was in yesterday morning if I had the numbers I had today.

Not sure if it's the lighting in the Men's restroom at work but the last couple of days when I get to work I still have to pee a lot. And the pee looks quite dark in the urinal. Dark pee is a sign of dehydration. But, as usual, I had just finished off a pot of coffee. I think that I've heard that coffee dehydrates you. Can you drink a half a gallon of fluid and then be dehydrated?

I really can't wait until spring comes back around. I don't remember having such an issue with dry skin on my hands. The back of my hands are really burning, and lotion just seems to make them burn more. They're just burning and oily when I put lotion on them.

Feet really didn't hurt for most of the day. About three fourths through the day the ache started coming in. Maybe I was starting to get tired and started standing wrong? Maybe I was thinking about how my feet didn't hurt so they did start to hurt.

At lunch I grabbed a pack of hot dogs to eat with the serving of soup, but that was a bit of a mistake as it was a bit too much. I ate all of it, but I really had to force myself to. I had ate past the point of satiety. I didn't make myself sick by eating too much, but it was just a waste of money and of the waist. It was only $1.50 but it was a buck fifty that I didn't need to spend.

I tried to avoid buying energy drinks. I had an energy shot from a case I bought a couple days ago, and one for lunch. After lunch I didn't have any more energy drinks. I picked up a Powerade and then later on I picked up something called a Core Hydration. It was cucumber flavored. I can't say that I'll have very many cucumber flavored drinks. The flavor is just too weird for me.

Today was another day when not much happened at work. Well, I thought that it was another calm day. I was thinking that yesterday was a calm quiet day, but the average wait time was 85 seconds. The stores goal is 62 seconds...oops.

I picked up a set of bratwursts on the way home. Another thing that I should not have bought as I had just bought a set earlier this week.

Hey that's one full week on Keto and 1.5 months sober. I call that a good start.
