I actually moved my scale around to make sure that there wasn't anything underneath it. The watch scan says that there was a pretty big drop in muscle, but there was also a big drop in water weight. Which makes since because of the last couple of days. But the scan says that fat is up a little On the way home from the hospital with Roommate I happened to drive by where the new YMCA is going to be and wow that is going to be huge. Roommate was surprised that I cared because he thought that I had quit going. And it wasn't that I had given up on the idea of going to the Y it's just that I was waiting for him to go back to work. He asked me why h...

Keto Week 1 (Day 12)
Sober Month 2 (Day 73)

Wow that kinda sucks. I forgot to save before I went to bed last night. I had left the computer on because I was still watching some videos, but it was getting late. This morning after I dropped Roommate off at his doctor I was updating the spreadsheets, and then the computer froze. And for some reason just decided to reboot itself for no reason.

So I kinda lost what I wrote, at least on the writing program that I use. I could copy and paste from the site back into the writing program, but I wrote a lot more on the blog post than what would fit into the single page that I write these out into. I didn't notice until later in the evening when I was sitting down and writing up the day and I noticed that the header for the post was all wrong for the day.

Usually the previous day doesn't reflect the day's post (that I'm aware of) However I have to try to remember what I wrote before everything crashed. And I'm left wondering if I wrote anything important in the earlier draft.

It was cool that the Shirts and Oven Gloves were delivered today when the original delivery estimate was for Sunday. I think that's the first time I ever ordered something on Amazon and it came in early. I'm a bit frustrated that the printer hasn't shipped yet. Amazon still says that it's supposed to be here on Sunday. But by Friday night it still hasn't shipped. Yeah, I'm not putting money on it getting delivered on time. Well, the phrase “on time” makes it seem like I'm in a hurry for it to get here. It there isn't a reason it needs to be here RIGHT NOW. But I did pay for it, and I'm waiting for it. I'm more frustrated that I'm guessing that it'll be late, but Amazon is still saying that it'll be here Sunday. If it's delayed, sure whatever, but tell me that it's running late. There will be orders in the past that will say that it will be delivered on “this” day, all of the way until that night, and then say, “Oops, it wasn't delivered, we'll let you know when it will be” I'd be less annoyed if I had gotten that in an email three days earlier.

Speaking about disappointing things there was an asteroid that has been gathering some headlines over the last couple of weeks because there was a small chance that it might hit the earth in 2036 or so. Of course people were playing it up for views and clicks. It would have been bad for any city that it would have landed in, but the odds of hitting the earth was, heh, astronomical landing in a city would have not happened. But the disappointing thing is that it has been determined that the asteroid is going to miss the earth completely. (Might still hit the moon though) I wouldn't want it to hit the earth. But it would be fascinating to see the effects of an asteroid hitting the earth. And I'm pretty sure that it would have been the first time that an asteroid was to detected before it hit. Now we won't see the impact, and there is the chance of the “Boy who cried wolf” effect. Asteroid 2024 yr4 got all of the headlines about maybe hitting earth, oh wait never mind. Will people still be paying attention to the fifth or sixth time they detected an asteroid that “might hit the earth, but never mind,”? And then what happens when, “oh wait never mind the never mind”?

I took the time after work tonight to take the inventory of the freezer. I debated on making a full meal plan because it is almost the end of the week. But I decided that would be a bad idea because I do have some servings in the fridge already and if I got more servings out of the freezer the ones in the fridge would get buried and probably to bad if I'm just getting more out

I really am trying to avoid talking about work every day on the blog but something I was really surprised to overhear was someone talking about the "Shopping Boycott" that people on Reddit were wanting to do. I was mainly surprised to hear someone IRL mention something from Reddit. But I also thought it was kind of funny that she was "Not really doing her 'real' shopping" because of the boycott, she was just "getting a few things" the few things was a >$200 order. I'm kind of curious what her "real shopping" would have looked like. I'm also curious as to if she knew what Boycott meant.

My understanding is that people were doing a economic boycott on February 28th because companies are supposedly getting rid of DEI. I didn't know that the company I worked for had a lot of that. I've heard customers complaining about DEI, but that's usually because they had to deal with an African American Associate.
