I have cottage cheese and hot dogs one day for lunch, the next day the weight is up. I have a recipe that I have saved for lunch the weight is down. I have Jalapeno cheesy sausages for lunch, the next day the weight is up. It's still among the lowest weigh ins for the year. And I'm still down 10 lbs for the year. I think starting tomorrow I'll start doing the tracking in my phone app again. Maybe start going back to the YMCA on Monday. I wont go tomorrow because with their Sunday hours they are only open while I'm at work. I'm thinking of trying to get into a habit of going into the weight room Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Maybe going to swim on Tuesday...

Keto Week 1 (Day 13)
Sober Month 1 (Day 52)

This week might not look like it, but my sinuses are telling me that spring is on its way. Today is up 2.4lbs (1 kg) but I'm pretty sure that is mostly snot in my head. I'm also a bit frustrated that the waist is up also. But fluctuations happen.

I didn't have coffee again today as just as I was finishing the bacon and eggs Roommate came downstairs and announced that his nurse was on the way. I helped him wrangle his dog into his room but then I had to go to work.

And good gravy everybody else came into the store also. I am so glad that nobody complained to me about it being busy. There's a promotion for 4x Fuel Points on Friday, the Super Bowl is this weekend, and they're talking about snow next week. And today was a RUNNER. One of the few times that it slowed down the store manager came by and told me that as a Supervisor I really shouldn't be on a register if it was busy. If it's busy, the Supervisor needs to be supervising. You really can't be doing your job if you're stuck on a single register. I seriously wanted to ask her if she was doing drugs. They had one cashier scheduled, so the only reason that there was more than one register open because I was on the other one. And for most of the day there was only one person in the Customer Service Desk. And the only carryouts were mentally disabled.

This post is not meant to be ablest. Just describing the people that I had to work with today.

One of them is a shy girl that is almost too scared to put more than one item in the bag at a time and seems too scared to ask people to help out with their items. When I have to tell her that she has to go outside to get carts because she's not going outside with people to bring them back in she hesitatingly brings in one at a time. She had been making progress, but I guess that she's been overwhelmed lately.

And the other was the guy that constantly talks, he always talks, talk the entire time, whenever he works he's always talking, he talks for hours at a time. There's no point in trying to converse with him, he's not talking to you, he's just talking. He was pacing back and forth upset that they were making him turn in his vacation request. He's not going on vacation right now. But they're forcing him to fill out the vacation form for the year. He spent five hours pacing around the front of the store chanting about how he filled out the vacation form. I was trying to get him to bag anything. But he was too busy talking about going on vacation. He has vacation time, he filled out the vacation form.

I was glad that I found a serving of the AI chili in the fridge. I was really in the mood for chili. Chili with a handful of shredded cheddar and a spoonful of sour cream almost makes winter worth it. Almost. The dry skin on the back of my hands are really starting to irritate me.

This next bit happened a couple of days ago, but it's still on my note in my phone so I'm not sure if I shared it yet. But one of the kid's running the customer service desk found Solitaire on the Bill Pay computer. I have to keep telling her that she shouldn't be playing games at work. Another kid running the desk told me that I wouldn't find her playing solitaire, she can't play it. The “math is too complicated” The...math. The MATH OF SOLITAIRE is too complicated. IT'S COUNTING! It's the basic Klondike solitaire. You just arrange the cards in order King to Ace. She just doesn't like numbers that much. She's a cashier, she also works in the desk with peoples bills and money transfers, but Solitaire is too complicated.

Threw some pork steaks in the oven for dinner. I had put some Montreal Steak Seasoning on them and sprinkled them with some Cajun Seasoning also and that was a pretty good combination.

Roommate called the cops on the neighbors again. They are hitting the weed pretty damn hard again. When the heater kicks on it smells like an open sewer. I'm not sure if anything is going to happen this time either.  The last time the cops came out the cop said that they had already smoked their entire stash and just told them to keep the music down. I'm not sure if the cop was just wanting to avoid the paperwork or what, but it is curious if they're going to do this every month or so.
