Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Keto Week 1 (Day 10)
Sober Month 2 (Day 71)

This morning after I dropped Rommate off at his doctor he told me that if it was after 10:30am by the time he was done he'd just call an Uber or take the local bus to get home. So when by 10:20 and he didn't call I thought I'll go ahead and set up the Keto Gumbo. It was 10:29 when he called and asked if I had time to make it to the hospital and come get him. I had a bit of a chuckle that he waited to call at 10:29 to call after he said that he wouldn't call after 10:30. I was still trying to set up the slow cooker, but I didn't want to leave him hanging. I would be a rush to get to him and back home. He volunteered to finish setting up the cooker and I went off to work.

I had gotten to work before I remembered to tell him that I had already put the seasonings in the pot. He responded with an “oops” but then told me that it was a joke. I would have said that double the spices would have made the recipe quite...flavorful.

I had to work a 3/5 split. I'm really not a fan of working a short first half and a long second half. And it was a really short first half because I started off training a new cashier for an hour, than I was a carryout for an hour, and then I ran self Checkout for an hour before lunch.

I didn't take time to recount the freezer like I was wanting to. But it's not really a priority. It's more of a curiosity to know how much food I have left. Heh, “How much I have left” makes it look like I have a low level of food in the freezer. But it is pretty full. I do know that the serving of Taco Soup is the last one that was in there though. It was still a little frozen when I put it in the microwave, but it did come out thawed out.

I do have to say that the second half of the day really blazed by. It helped that they had scheduled two cashiers for the evening. I'm thinking that it was an interesting “coincidence” that the Backup Customer Service Manager lady was the “Person In Charge” for the evening.

I worked 5 hours for the second half of the day I took a short break to get off of my feet and my knees were starting to hurt. Feet were kind of grumpy too, but my knees were really liking that I sat down. I didn't need to buy a snack for a break, but I thought I'd experiment with some of the Kroger Meat Sticks, the store brand version of Slim Jim. But I don't think I'll have those too often, they were quite dry and tough.

The nepotistic kid was the closing carryout this evening. But it was busy enough while I was there he was kind of forced to do his job. And there was another carryout scheduled to be there and he is a little too eager to get everything done I didn't have to argue with the nepo baby to do his job. But I had noticed that when I sent him to his lunch break he just grabbed a bag of chips, payed for it, and walked out of the door. It didn't look like he signed out for his lunch. I had already talked with managers about his bad attitude and they seemed to be pretty done with him, and not signing out for your lunch breaks isn't going to curry any favors. But that's a problem that's above my pay grade. The kind of good thing with dealing with people who have that kind of attitude is that you don't have to deal with them for very long. Either the managers are going to get tired of his crap, or he'll get tired of being dogged on.

At 10:50 Roommate noticed that there were emergency lights outside of the condo. I looked up in time to see a firetruck drive up to the High School next door. Not sure what's going on over there close to 11 at night. Roommate suggested that it might be another gas leak.
