Keto Sobriety blog Wednesday January 28, 2026

Weight: 322.3 lbs ( 146.2 kg) BMI: 41.4 Waist: 54.0 in ( 137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs https://youtu.be/l5bQ0Y0FXWQ Lunch: Fathead Lasagna https://youtu.be/Bd4KXuuh9yw Dinner:  Bratwurst Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Year 1 (Day 407) Keto Day 1 (24/365 Days 2026 Keto) Scale and waist is both up for the day, but not by much. Annoyed that the numbers are above the start of the year so all of the projections are showing up. At least the weight is still under the average for the year so far. The apartment complexes around here all have metal roofs (odd spelling on the word roofs, you'd think that it'd be “rooves”) so as it's starting to get above freezing outside and the snow starts melting on top of the roof the snow slides off in a kind of avalanche. So this morning I was sitting here listening to videos and then hear a “Slooumph” as snow and ice slides off of the building. It keeps sounding like something fell down, but...

Daily Blog August 26, 2022

Weight: 361.2 lbs (163.8 kg) BMI: 46.4 Waist: 58.5 in (149.6 cm) WtHr: 79.5% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Bar S hot dogs, bag of Cheetos Dinner: baked chicken Drinks: 2 Liters Dr Pepper Cherry zero Sugar, 2x Kroger Sparkling Water, 5 Hour energy shot, 4x 24 oz Milwaukee's Best ICE beer mood: tired      Started of with some bacon and eggs. I still haven't gotten the bacon right, it's always burnt halfway to charcoal or still half raw. Sometimes on the same strip. I'm kind of starting to see the greatness of over easy eggs. But they do seem to be a pain to eat compared to eggs cooked hard. It almost seems necessary to switch back between a fork and a spoon. And I was really clumsy and irritable this morning. The other day I had bumped into a door frame and I now have a heck of a bruise on the back of my left arm. And everything I touch seems to end up on the floor, or seems to knock something else onto the floor.      If I ever get the energy...

Trying to keep going Daily Blog 8-7-2021

Weight: 354 lbs (160.6 kg) BMI: 45.4 Waist: 57 in (144.8 cm) WtHR: 77% Breakfast: Bacon, eggs, coffee with cream Lunch: Deli Prepackaged Chef Salad, Sugar free monster energy, small bag of crunchy Cheetos Dinner: Pork steaks, Heinz 57, 12pk Bud light I woke up this morning. It did take me a bit to wake up properly, but that is a bit of the “A body at rest tends to stay at rest” kind of thing. And a bit of the fact that I finished that entire package of corona hard seltzer. But when I did manage to convince myself to get up I got a text from a coworker asking me if I could come in early; she had weekend plans that she hadn't planned for. I'm a bit annoyed by this, but I am pretty close to 40 hours and I'm not exactly in the position to turn down hours (not in an a precarious place so there is no need to worry, it's just that I could be in a slightly better position financially.) And she only wants me to come in a half an hour early. Whatever, a bit annoying, but a...

Food Blog 10/1/18

Weight: 332.3lbs Waist: 54.5 Mood: excited Breakfast: Pot of coffee, ½ box Chili Macaroni Hamburger Helper 4oz shredded cheese Lunch: Crunchy Cheetos, Chili, Energy shot, Cherry Sparkling water Dinner: Sir Loin Pork Chops, Cheesy Ramen I always find myself in a great mood at the beginning of each month.  But I do think I can do this daily food blog.  I'm planing on using this to keep me mindful of what I'm eating.  And I know that the Hamburger Helper, Cheetos and Ramen isn't exactly on the diet that I want to be doing.  But I am sure that I can eventually work towards the foods I want to be eating.
