I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. A major ingredient in most of the energy drinks is known as Taurine. TL;DR They're linking Taurine to Leukemia. Okay, this next part is biased on my understanding and Google searches and suffers from many rewrites to get “right”. The caffeine in the energy drinks doesn't as much give you energy. Brains are weird as it doesn't feel tired until it receives a chemical (adenosine) in a receptor. And Caffeine blocks those receptors so it isn't that you have more energy, you just don't feel the tired. That explains the “caffeine crash” that people have when it fades off. Roommate is getting anxious because Wednesday is supposed to get up to 95 degrees (35 C) He sent a text to Landlord to ask about the timeline of the AC getting switched out. Landlord said that he'd call HVAC people to see if they could get an ETA. Apparently the last he heard they were still getting the equipment to do the job. Landlord didn't text back until later in the evening. He's going to be here Wednesday to take out the old units and Thursday to put the new ones in. It would have been nice to get the new AC before it started getting hot, but at least we know that there's a timeline of it getting fixed. I was dead tired ...

I did not little hard bits in the sausages that I had yesterday for lunch. I had assumed that they were bits of bone. But I guess not. I would be eligible for a refund, but I had already eaten them and had thrown away the packaging. No free lunches I guess. It seemed to have a hard time picking a number. And when it did it kept giving wildly different numbers. Ranging from 345 lbs (156.5 kg) to 312 lbs (141.5 kg) But the 334.4 seemed to be the most common number that it showed. Who knows how accurate that is though. However the waist measuring tape doesn't fluctuate. And that was showing a loss. Down to 55.5 inches (141 cm) And I have noticed that the gut has been changing shape over the last couple of days. Printing the rest of the parts of the helmet went a lot faster today than it did yesterday. So the shell of the helmet is printed off. I'm going to have to research on how to glue the parts together.
