Some gunk in the back of my throat making my throat sore. Along with some sinus congestion. Ran out of bacon a couple of days ago so yesterday and today I had a pork steak for breakfast. I was going to have eggs to go with, but those steaks were pretty sizable so having a plate sized pork steak with four fried eggs seemed like a lot. I had just finished cooking the breakfast steak when Roommate came downstairs and announced that his doctors appointment this week is at 10am instead of the 11am it had been in the last couple of weeks and we needed to leave right then because it was just time to leave to get to his appointment. Hitting some serious writers block on this one. Nothing really happened today. I didn't deal with any weird customers or anything. There were a lot of kids screaming their heads off.

I worked a 5:3 split today, and it was too busy during the first half to take a break. It was busy but smooth. 

The clams in the chowder were really chewy this afternoon.

Tried to play some Minecraft after work. But wasn't in the mood for Corridor Mining and didn't really have any ideas of building anything. Decided to play some Oblivion instead. My computer is NOT going to be able to play the remake. But it still plays the 2005 version just fine. I'm just kind of doing the “Murder Hobo” thing where I'm just kind of wondering around killing monsters and raiders and the like. I haven't came across very many quests. But Bethesda games are good for just wondering around in.

There's just not much to say about today.

Baked some pork steak for dinner.

And it wouldn't be a great idea to drive it back and forth too much. He did say that it would be fine to leave it at the shop until they get the chance to work on it. Some of their people are out of town on training so they wont be able to fix it today, but they'll really try to get it done tomorrow. Not in the greedy sort of way, but in the something bit me kind of way. There's a bright red spot on the base of my thumb and on the top of my right pointer finger whenever I wash my hands. Over the day the level of itch was low enough that it wasn't really that distracting. But if I was standing around not doing anything I would catch myself picking at my finger. Kind of surprised to see the weight progress over the last couple of days. Almost seems to be back on track. There's been a bit of a weight loss plateau over the last couple of months.
