I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. The challenge of the first half of today was that I wasn't supervisor I was s...

Sober Month 4 (Day 143)

Woke up in a bit of a rebellious mood so I decided to hold off on doing the Keto thing for a couple of days. If I dropped off of Sobriety I'd be disappointed (and I did have to fight that urge) Had Deli Fried Chicken for a bit of an early lunch. They had brought back the classic breading and I've been wanting to try it for a bit now. I do have to say, it is mountains above the new breading they had for a while.

I was looking up how long it would take for them to install the new HVAC system and it kept showing that it could take 4 to 8 hours, there were some results that said that it could take up to five days! The paranoia made me look up why it could take that long to install it. And that's how long it would take to install a “geothermal heat pump”. And that would be freaking wicked to have, but somehow I don't think that would be an option here in the middle of Kansas. There are some posts that say that it could take a couple of days if they have to install new duct work. I'm not sure how that would work if they had to do that, would they have to rip out the walls? I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm 90% sure that they're just going to haul the old heater out of the basement and put in the new one and do the same with the outside unit.

Roommate slept in so I took the opportunity to record a store story video while he was still sleeping. It took a while to get it edited because I felt like I really needed to get out of the house. But as I finished editing it I noticed that there was a button in the video editing software for AI Generated Background music. I tested it to see what kind of music it would generate for a video of me talking to the camera about a lady who insisted that she was overcharged for her tomatoes. It was a plunky repetitive twang it is a bit hard to describe. I didn't decide to keep it as background music, but I did record it to keep it if I need any ambient music. I think I'll keep it for outro music to play while the end cards are playing on my videos. It is extremely satisfying to have another video done so recently the the last video that I've finished. I'll see if I can make this a trend. I don't think I will be able to make the recipe videos consistently until (or if) Roommate goes back to work.

I was going to clean up the tags on my Blog a bit. For example I have some of my posts tagged with “56 inch waist” and others are tagged with “56 in” for the same measurement. It just seems kind of sloppy to have the two different tags for the same measurement. And there were a lot of posts that had "Pot of Coffee" as a tag and a lot of posts that just had a tag of "Coffee" and that seemed to be redundant. I just hope Google doesn't think I'm trying to inflate my statistics for the next couple of days. I have adsense on my blog so (in theory) someday I could probably grow this blog into something that I could get paid to do. I get that it's extremely unlikely, but it's still a fun thought. But if they think I'm just clicking on my own blog they'll take that away.

I also took the time to clean off my fan that I have next my computer. It was just completely covered in dog hair. It is surprising how much cleaning it helps with the air flow.

For dinner I made Taco Mac and Cheese by browning up some ground beef with tomatoes and chilies in some Macaroni and Cheese. I was going to have some sour cream with it, but there seemed to be stuff growing in it.

It is strange in the title of the blogs I'm still having to correct myself from writing "April" for the day. What's really strange about that is yesterday was my birthday and I'm still having a hard time recognizing that it's May
