Had a hard time falling asleep after posting the blog last night. Body was tired, mind was tired, brain WAS WIRED FOR SOUND. I made another pitcher of tea this morning, but I didn't have any of it after work. I'm not going to go full caffeine free, but I'm going to try to avoid it in the evening. The inside of my nose was burning. It reminded me of when I was a kid and heard that smelling pepper makes you sneeze, so I snorted some black pepper to see if it would make me sneeze. (Pro-tip: Don't do that, it sucks) I was going to do Bacon and Eggs , but decided on one of the smaller pork steak and eggs. It was a bit of a challenge to cook the steak because it split into two parts, but had a connecting piece that just got tangled up. All day it felt like I took a baseball bat to the sinuses. But only when I first stood up. Was excited to see another record low for the year. Still 8.4 lbs (3.8 kg) from the lowest weight of last year. But I'm still glad for the progress for the year. It's back above the average of the month and the long list. It's still under the average for the year and the last two months. It's great to be down 7.1 lbs (3.2 kg) for the year, but kinda sucks to be up 5.2 lbs (2.4 kg) for the week. And yeah, fluctuations happen, but it would be nice to be fluctuating in the other direction. Steak and eggs for breakfast was great for a while, but that's really getting expensive.
