Had a hard time falling asleep last night. The inside of my nose was burning. It reminded me of when I was a kid and heard that smelling pepper makes you sneeze, so I snorted some black pepper to see if it would make me sneeze. (Pro-tip: Don't do that, it sucks)
I was going to do Bacon and Eggs, but decided on one of the smaller pork steak and eggs. It was a bit of a challenge to cook the steak because it split into two parts, but had a connecting piece that just got tangled up.
All day it felt like I took a baseball bat to the sinuses. I do believe that the medicine that I bought yesterday did help. But the nose was still running like crazy.
There was a bit of an air show in my neighborhood this morning. The National Guard Post here in town was doing "Landing Exercises" with Black Hawk helicopters in the Sports Arena that is just south of my building. I have to say, those buggers are LOUD.
Since I did laundry yesterday I did the meal plan and inventory today. I have enough Lunches to last for another couple of weeks, but I'll still have to buy more meat next week for dinners. I'm going to have to buy the stuff for more lunches in the next couple of weeks, but I'll have to be careful to not over fill the freezer again.
I brought the veggies to Mom's house that I was wanting to bring over yesterday. She had somethings to say about if they were ready for the compost or if I should have used some of them. I really didn't have a recipe for them and I think they would have been done composting by the time I got around to using them. I think she said that she was going to salvage some of the celery and onion by using her dehydrator. She showed me some of the desiccated celery that she had in her inventory. I'm pretty sure she said that you could re-hydrate it when you need it. That would be fascinating to watch it soak it back up.
The watch and computer said that it was only 82 degrees (27.7 C) but it felt a lot hotter than that. They're saying that tomorrow is going to get up to 94 (34 C) I'm not ready for summer yet. I is going to be nice to leave the windows open this evening when I go to bed.
On the way home from Mom's I was wanting to put the foot down and cruise around a bit in the nice sunny weather. But I guess I missed the memo on them changing the speed limit in the town as every...body was driving around at around 20 mph (32 kph). No matter what street, or road I went onto everybody was just plodding along barely getting up to half of the posted speed limit. I eventually got frustrated and went back home. I need to conserve gas anyway.
Didn't get much done today as the Sinuses were sapping my energy. I spent the day sitting at the computer with my head back so the nose would stop running.
