When I play the video on my phone it plays the video, but doesn't want to play on my computer. And I had a hard time getting...

The weight was up today. But still down for the month and amazing progress for the year.

The bacon was looking a bit rough when I cooked it this morning. It was just kind of gray while it cooked. I don't know if it's going bad on me, but I'm hoping it can stick it out until Tuesday.

I did get around to getting the guts to share my opinion on what is probably going to happen when/if President Trump gets his way with the tariffs

Amazing weather outside today. It was nice enough to open up the windows and turn off the heater. When I came home for lunch Roommate was taking a nap, but I heard a strange banging coming from upstairs. It sounded like he kept slamming his door. But then I remembered that I had my windows open and the door closed so the wind was coming in and out and banging the door.

The struggle was real for the last couple of days. (Not Sponsored) The big beer cans are 10/$10 again. And the deli brought back the original breading on the fried chicken. People were NOT impressed with the new breading that they had put on the chicken. So they temporarily brought back the classic breading and are having people fill out a survey to say which one they prefer. I have to say that the new breading made a crust that was too thick and easily dried out. If I remember correctly the classic was more fluffy and didn't dry out as bad. But neither of them or the beer work very well for my diet. When I told a coworker that I was struggling with the nostalgia . She asked if I drank a lot of beer with fried chicken or something. I didn't get a chance to tell her that it wasn't that I was having beer with lunch. But I'm not exaggerating when I say that I literally had fried chicken every...single...day for lunch. And then when I went home for the day I had four to five big cans of beer. Every...single...day. I did think about having fried chicken for lunch. But I have food at home. And I don't want to go back to the way I was feeling when I was drinking.

What I was doing to keep notes for this blog was I was typing them into the “Notes” app on my phone. That's going to be a bit of a challenge for now on because they're threatening to write up anybody who is on their phone. Naturally, they really didn't want people playing with their phones. But there's no reason to breathe down peoples necks. Maybe let a quick glance at the phone slide. However people seem to have lost their damned minds and have ruined it for the rest of us. There's a rumor that they're cracking down on phone use because while there some big wigs visiting the store the lady who was running the Self Checkout was FaceTimeing with their friends. She was surrounded by people who needed help but she was waving them off because she was on the phone. And I wish I was surprised at the rumor of who it  was that was supposedly doing that.

I was kind of distraught by the idea that I couldn't keep track of things that happen during the day because I know that if I don't write things down I wont remember things that happen. But I realized that I could just grab scraps of paper and keep notes on those. The challenge with those is to remember to take those home with me. As I was already home when I remembered that I had left today's note in the Supervisor vest in my locker at work. It also kind of sucks not to take notes on the phone anymore because it did kind of remind me of an Anime called Future Diary. The plot was kind of convoluted, but the protagonists were people who kept diaries on their phone and started to get "diaries" from the future and they were in some kind of deadly tournament and whoever survived became the new god of their world.

I do remember that there was an exciting moment when they had finally caught a panhandler that had been hanging around the parking lot for the last couple of days. The security guard was able to convince the girl running the front desk to call the police so they could get the police involved so that if he comes back he could get charged with trespassing. The guy didn't try to fight or argue as far as I could see, but it's not every day when we call the police on somebody. And it was a guy that had been hanging around for a while.

After work I grilled up some Ham Steaks. Roommate gave the bone from his to the dog. Thinking that the dog would gnaw on it. But the dog just chomped it and swallowed it whole. I laughed it it. But I do hope that it does come out alright from the other end. I consider myself more of a cat person, but I wouldn't want to see any harm come to the poor thing because it was too dumb to chew it's treats.

I did remember to close the windows in my room before I went to bed. That would have SUCKED to wake up in the middle of the night with the room at 40 degrees (4 C) because I forgot to close the damned windows.
