Actually lost weight from yesterday. I'm just back down to the start of the month. But it's considerably down for the year. Waistline is considerably down, so that's encouraging.
It's a bit disconcerting that I got an email this morning that the Jonsonville Jalapeno Sausages are now on recall because there's pieces of plastic in them. I did not little hard bits in the sausages that I had yesterday for lunch. I had assumed that they were bits of bone. But I guess not. I would be eligible for a refund, but I had already eaten them and had thrown away the packaging. No free lunches I guess.
Finally, finally, finally got around to editing and scheduling the upload of the video that I recorded back on March 20. That too way too long to get around to finishing that video. It was just a matter of putting the clips together and cutting out the um's and uh's The time codes on the video clips shows that it took about two hours to cook the recipe, but it really shouldn't have taken that long. It was just a matter of cutting things up and cooking them in the pan. If I wasn't making a video out of it, it'd probably only be a 15 minute recipe.
It was nice enough to open the windows and turn off the heater for the afternoon. But I had to close the window after a while because the wind was constantly coming through. It was nice for a while, but it did eventually get quite cold on my right arm as it was constantly blowing and the window is right next to my computer desk. It wouldn't have been bad if the sun was coming through that window as it was quite warm upstairs. But that window is on the eastern side of the building so it was in shadow and constantly blowing in the cold air.
I got around to starting to print the Right Arm of the Cosplay. I had to cut the bicep into two parts because it was too tall to fit on the plate. The top part should take about 3 hours but the bottom part says that it's going to take about 13 hours to print. I'll set that up to print overnight so when I wake up it should be done. I'm a bit concerned with how long it's going to take because I'm remembering that it only took about 8 hours. But it is possible that I'm remembering it wrong. I had to restart the top part because the filament snapped. And it broke on the other side of the filament outage sensor. So it couldn't tell that it wasn't still printing. So it was going like it was perfectly fine. But the hot end was just going through space. The only waste was in time and the little bit of filament that was printed successfully. I'm a little annoyed because the spool of filament that I'm printing off of right now is the last spool that I currently have. It doesn't cost much for a roll, but bills come first.
Started the bottom half of the bicep later in the evening. As I started it at around 11pm it's going to finish tomorrow afternoon. At first blush I was kinda annoyed that it would have finished printing while I was at work, but I remembered that tomorrow is Tuesday and I'm off on Tuesdays
