Roommate had his appointment this morning at 8:45. So I ran him by the hospital, while he was at the hospital, I decided to go do the grocery shopping. As soon as got done with that I went home, when I got home I went ahead and took shower. As soon as the shower was done Roommate was done with his appointment, but he needed to run by Walgreen's (not sponsored) on the way home he was in a bad mood so he wanted McDonald's (Not Sponsored). So I ran him by McDonald's I was trying to decide if the one on 4t h street or the one on 11t h was closer, but he said that the one a block and a half away from the Walgreen's was the closest one. But he didn't say that until I was already hea...

I stayed up WAY too late last night building those shelves. It was strangely extremely satisfying to finish building them. It was a little bookshelf that would probably fit into a dorm room. But it was sitting down in the basement for who knows how long waiting for me to sober up and put it together. Whoever wrote that instruction card deserves a beating though.

The scale was a bit glitchy again today, but the most consistent number was the one I wrote down. A little annoying that it was the exact same as yesterday's. I stepped on it several times during the day and it gave me a different answer so it isn't just glitching to that number. It's still stunning that it's so low compared to the average for the year.

Yesterday while doing inventory I found what looked like a couple of really small pork steaks so I had one of them for breakfast this morning. I did have some eggs with them. One of the eggs was strangely misshapen it looked kind of like it had a skin, or shell I guess, graft to attach a missing part. It was flattened and wrinkled around one side. I've never seen an egg deformed like that. I do have to wonder if in a different time it would have not passed inspection and would have been thrown away. But in our current “egg climate” they're kind of lowering their standards on the eggs that can pass inspection. It was strange another egg had a MASSIVE yolk. I would have taken a picture, but I was in a hurry. I didn't even have time to have coffee. But I was strangely energized today.

Had a scary moment picking Roommate up from his doctor's appointment this morning. I was driving west on one of the major roads north of the school and a guy decided that he was going to go ahead and cross the street. I was cruising along at 35 mph and I did see him standing in the middle of the road so I thought he'd wait for traffic to clear. But I guess he had other plans because as I approached he decided to start running out in front of me. I was able to swerve around him. But he about gave me a heart attack. I know that pedestrians have the right of way, but to quote Neil deGrasse Tyson, “You might have the right of way, but you're still going to be a street pizza if you run out into traffic”

Not really much happened today. There was a guy that was trying to use the Coinstar Kiosk (not sponsored) to buy Bitcoin (very, very not sponsored) But nobody could figure out how. I did ask if he was trying to buy it for himself as I have had more than one person in the past who was falling for scams trying to buy bitcoin. There didn't seem to be a “Buy Bitcoin here!” button. It did say on the front of the machine that you could use it for that purpose. While messing with the machine I asked if he had put his card in the machine perhaps it would bring up some sort of menu. He insisted that he didn't want to use his card, because he, “Doesn't trust the plastic” which was a fascinating thing for someone to say while they're trying to buy cryptocurrency. Thankfully he didn't try arguing with me or anything. I just couldn't help him with it. He did say that the people at the bank were telling him that there were apps that he could use. He was just hesitant to do those because he doesn't understand much about how phones work. I would say if he doesn't understand technology enough to trust phones or debit cards why the heck is he buying Crypto? He just said that he felt like it was a good time to get involved with the investment. I believe that I shared my opinion before, but I have yet to hear an explanation or description of the various cryptocurrencies that doesn't make them sound like a massive scam. Maybe I'm being too cautious, but I'm just waiting for it to have a massive collapse. (Probably right after I decide to take the plunge)

I didn't get around to printing anything today. I don't think I have enough filament right now to print an entire Right Shin to match the Left Shin that I've already printed. I might print some other smaller bits and doodads (wow spell check recognized "doodads") And just wait on printing more cosplay when I get the material bought. But again, bills come first.
