And I've slept in a day or two so I didn't have time before work to do much either. So it kind of felt like I was waking up and going to work, then going back to bed.  I have been having a hard time cooking over the last couple of days. On Thursday I was happy that I had paid all of the bills that morning so I baked a Fathead Pizza. But the crust had completely carbonized to the baking sheet. Not sure what happened there. I've cooked Fathead Pizza before and had burnt it more than once, but never that badly before. And...

I didn't get around to posting yesterday. I really slept in. I only woke up when I heard Roommate screaming at his video games. Turns out playing the games for 20 hours a day for five months straight is rough on controllers. He said that he ordered a new controller, and he insisted that he would be sending me his half of the rent this week. Which if he was buying gaming accessories without paying his half of the rent would be quite frustrating. But he did send me his half of the rent this afternoon. What's kind of fun is that since he sent it to me on a weekday, and I sent it to my bank account during business hours I'll get it tomorrow, and tomorrow is a regular payday also.

I did get around to taking inventory of the food that I have in the freezer. And I did have enough food for this week, but next week the only food that I would have for lunch would be four servings of Keto Clam Chowder. So for grocery shopping yesterday I did spend a bit more than I wanted to, but I got some chicken and the stuff to make Pizza Soup, Cabbage Soup, and Big Mac Casserole. Next week I'll get the stuff for another couple of lunch recipes. My thighs were actually sore today with all of the walking around cooking yesterday. And I didn't get the dishes done last night so I didn't have a bowl to have lunch in and when I got home I had to do dishes to make dinner this evening.

But as to why I didn't post yesterday I was too busy cooking and cleaning. It was 1 am before I realized that I had yet to start my DAILY blog post.

I almost made Roommate late to his appointment this morning. He knocked on my door and told me that his appointment was soon and for some reason I thought he said it would be at 8:15. But then a little bit later he called my phone to say that he needed to get going.

Great weight loss progress today. Or at least I think I'm making progress today. The scale was really glitchy again today. But as Roommate has sent me his half of the rent and payday is tomorrow I'm thinking of running by Walmart (not sponsored) and grabbing a belt and a new scale.

I almost had a heart attack when I checked my pay stub evening. They changed how the website shows how much you're paid. It used to just show the pay date and the amount your paycheck will be and that would be a link to download the PDF of your pay stub. But they changed it to show your Net Payment, Tax Deductions, Pretax Deductions etc. And of course they didn't tell anybody that they changed it. And the first thing that I saw on the site as it loaded was the “Employee Tax Deductions” and I had thought that was going to be the check for the week. And Yeah, that would have been a problem.
