I thought I had beaten that goal. Happiness isn't a number on the scale, but progress is a great motivator. I didn't get the post done last night as I closed the service desk and it was close to 10 by the time I got home and after baking a pork loin it would have just been a “Mark Whines About Work” Post. And I worked earlier today than I normally do so I was trying to get to bed. It was still well after midnight by the time I fell asleep. The waistline has been annoyingly stable, but it is under the average. Crazy busy all day today. Frustratingly I was stuck in the desk by myself for most of the first half of the day. So there wasn't much I could do to help as I was the only one in the desk and it wasn't like I could go open another register without leaving the desk unmanned. And for most of the day that none of the carryouts knew how to check.
