Weight: 338.8 lbs ( 153.7 kg) BMI: 43.5 Waist: 56 in (142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Fathead Lasagna   Dinner: Pork Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster Peachy Keen Sober Month 6 (Day 190) Had a hard time waking up this morning. I just kind of sat here at the computer counting down the time until I had to go to work. I worked Noon to Nine closing the Customer Service Desk instead of the normal 11a-8pm Supervisor shift that I usually do. I drank an entire pot of coffee, but I'm just sitting here zoned out. I had thought a couple of times that I need to get a plan together for what I'm going to cook on Tuesday for the weekly lunch. But then I zone back out. First half of the day went really smoothly. Not sure if I should write this down. This is being logged at lunch. I worked a 3:5 split so I went to lunch at 3pm and will have to work 4 to 9. The challenge of the first half of today was that I wasn't supervisor I was s...

Weight: 332.8 lbs ( 150.9 kg) BMI: 42.7 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Bratwursts Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Unsweetened Tea, Kroger Energy Shot, Arizona Diet Lemonade Tea, Keto Day 3 Sober Month 5 (Day 155) I seem to be in a bit of a Weight Loss Plateau. But looking at the data of the year that seems to be the pattern. January was pretty flat, February had pretty good progress, March was pretty flat, and then April had good progress, and now May is flat. So I'm not sure if that is normal, but I am making amazing progress for the year. I didn't get a chance to take any notes today. I do remember that there were moments that I wanted to write things down. But good gravy today was swamped busy. It was the Friday of a holiday weekend and there are rumors of bad weather over the next couple of days. It was insanely busy and I did have more than one person ask me if the help that we had was all of the help...

Switching Out Beer For Cough Syrup Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog June 10, 2024

Weight: 332.2 lbs (150.7 kg) BMI: 42.6 Waist: 55 in (137.2 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: 1.17 lbs Chuck Blade Steak Grilled Drinks: Pot of Coffee Black, Diet Dr Pepper, Kroger Energy Shot, Kroger Blackberry Citrus Seltzer Water Sober Day 2 Still didn't go to the YMCA this morning as I'm still horaking up my lungs. I'm still fairly certain that it's just allergies, but I think COVID-19 is still close enough to the zeitgeist that nobody would want to lift weights around someone coughing like I am. And swimming when I can't breathe properly doesn't sound like fun either. Although sitting in the steam room for a bit would probably be beneficial. Had bacon and eggs for breakfast this morning. I've been trying to re-season my cast iron skillet. For a while I was cleaning the skillet with a steal wool scratch pad and baking it. I wasn't using soap water on it, but lately it looked like the patina was starting to come ...

Weight: 337.6 lbs ( 153.1 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Slow Cooker BBQ Chuck Roast Drinks: Couple cups of coffee with cream, ~1,000ml water, 2x Kroger energy shot    My feet this morning felt like they were in a vice! Particularly along the sides of the feet. Not sure if that was because I'm back to work from PTO last week, because my weight is trending back upwards, or because of the Mac and Cheese that I had last night. Calves were also really stiff and sore.      Work was another challenging day. I have no idea why it was so stomping busy all day long. People were loading up their carts and having orders in the hundreds and hundreds of dollars. And there were other things that would make this post a small novel about whining about work and that's just not what I want this blog to be.     I was able to avoid buying lunch again today. The main thought that hel...

Weight: 327.2 lbs ( 148.4 kg) BMI: 42 Waist: 54 in ( 137.2 cm) WtHr: 73% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs with salsa Lunch: Cabbage Soup Snack: Hamburger Sausage Broccoli Alfredo Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Pot of coffee, ~3600 ml water      Oh, good the smart watch is broken. The face wont turn on, the buttons don't seem to do anything, and it wont connect to the phone. But do you know what does work on it? The alarm -_- I'll be glad when this winter is over. It's never really bothered me before, but this cold is really starting to get annoying. It just keeps going. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat soon enough Back down to last months' lowest weight. GOODBYE ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS. Looking at the graph of the weight over the year is interesting though. Last month there was a real sharp downwards trend from the 18 th to the 25 th . And that's when I started buying diet sodas and from time to time buying beer. And it gradually climbed....

Imaginary Fees Were Just Imaginary Daily Blog January 19, 2023

Weight: 340.2 lbs ( 154.3 kg) BMI: 43.7 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Tap water      Okay, going back down. I was getting discouraged by the ups. Mom is leaving encouraging comments on my Facebook posts, and I've been bad at replying to them. They are appreciated, I'm just not sure of what to say to respond to them.      Went by the tag office this morning and they were able to fix the title for my car. They just stapled an “Affidavit of Correction” to the title. And they did it for free! I was so scared that I'd get the response of, “Yeah, we can fix it, but you'll have to pay the three years of back registrations and get insurance, and late fees, and the fee fees and the other fees.” But no it was just a matter of getting a piece of paper stapled to the old title. The look on the face of the lady at the tag office was kind of funny when I breathed out a, “Oh, tha...

Weight: 344 lbs (156 kg) BMI: 44.2 Waist: 57 (144.8 cm) WtHR: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and Over Easy Eggs Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks:2L Diet Big K Cola Recorded a General Update video this morning. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name. Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building. Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday ...

Weight: 350.6 lbs (159.0 kg) BMI: 45 Waist: 58.5 in (148.6 cm) WtHR: 79.1% Breakfast: X Lunch: Cabbage Soup Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Kroger energy shot, Sparkling water, four cans of the Diet Coke and Diet Dr Pepper. I seem to be out of the Diet Big K Forgot to pick up bacon last night. So no breakfast. Oh, well. Not really that hungry this morning anyway. I did the computer evaluation for the HR lady. She said that she'll call me on Tuesday to discuss the results of the evaluation. But it would be nice to have any kind of indication before than. I was kind of expecting a score at the end of each quiz. But no it would just say that the evaluation was complete and it would just go back to the list of remaining quizzes. So yeah, more than a little nervous for Tuesday. Is it strange that I'm more nervous about the report card than I was about the interview? Work was alright. Short staffed as always. But at least today we didn't have anyone yelling at us to open more...
