And I've slept in a day or two so I didn't have time before work to do much either. So it kind of felt like I was waking up and going to work, then going back to bed.  I have been having a hard time cooking over the last couple of days. On Thursday I was happy that I had paid all of the bills that morning so I baked a Fathead Pizza. But the crust had completely carbonized to the baking sheet. Not sure what happened there. Recorded a General Update video this morning. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name.

Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building.

Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday and when I write a check on Tuesday it processes on Thursday, which is the day I get paid. I'm going to be going to be picking up more chicken and I'm going to have to choose a casserole to pick up the ingredients for the Tuesday recipe video.

Roommate was up all night last night screaming in pain. I'm a bit nervous to ask him what's wrong, only because I'm pretty sure that I already know. I'm willing to bet that his problems are something to do with his “Werther's Original Meal Replacement Plan” he's never been a big fan of the Keto/carnivore diets (The Proper Human Diet as Dr Berry calls them). And it wouldn't be a great idea to drive it back and forth too much. He did say that it would be fine to leave it at the shop until they get the chance to work on it. Some of their people are out of town on training so they wont be able to fix it today, but they'll really try to get it done tomorrow. They didn't want to give a time estimate without looking closer at the car. But they didn't seem to be worried and it didn't seem to be something that they haven't seen before. The computer ...
