I worked noon to 8 today so I had time to cook breakfast and have some coffee. I also took the time to grill a pork steak for lunch. I did get around to uploading the General Update video today. I kept dozing off while re-watching the video before uploading it. This was after a couple cups of coffee. That might be a bad sign. It kind of sucks that when I try to share the video link on here it doesn't share an embedded link it just shows a blank link. Recorded a General Update video this morning. Probably going to be spending all day thinking about the things I wanted to have mentioned. For instance I wanted to mention that I started off 2023 sober. Kind of helps that the first was a Sunday and I have about five whole dollars to my name.

Once again I wake up with a ton of hope and optimism, and then I go to work and it feels like a giant gut punch. We only had one person call in, so far at my lunch break, but that shift was covered by someone who was asking for more hours anyway. But it's kind of bad when you can feel your emotions deflating as you walk into a building.

Got tired of pork steak every night so I baked up some of the chicken that I had in the freezer. Unfortunately it was the last of the chicken in the freezer. But tomorrow is Tuesday and when I write a check on Tuesday it processes on Thursday, which is the day I get paid. I'm going to be going to be picking up more chicken and I'm going to have to choose a casserole to pick up the ingredients for the Tuesday recipe video.

Really good drop on the scale this morning. I haven't started a year under 330 (149.7 kg) since 2015. I've been lower in weight a couple of times last year. But I haven't been this constantly low for quite some time. Roommate was up all night last night screaming in pain. I'm a bit nervous to ask him what's wrong, only because I'm pretty sure that I already know. I'm willing to bet that his problems are something to do with his “Werther's Original Meal Replacement Plan” he's never been a big fan of the Keto/carnivore diets (The Proper Human Diet as Dr Berry calls them).
