The last post on here was the day before Christmas Eve. I told myself that I wasn't considering Christmas as a “Cheat Day” but the problem came when after Christmas I told myself, “Heck it's the end of the year anyway, why not?” and then, “Meh it's still early in the year.” And this last week I've been really struggling with a very heavy flare up of apathy. I just can't seem to give a damn about anything lately. I've been sitting at my computer until I have to go to work, stand around waiting for the day to end, and then going back home and sitting at the computer. The last several weeks have been kind of a gray blur, I've b

Had to be Stubborn Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog November 19, 2023

Weight: 342.8 lbs (156.9 kg) BMI: 44 Waist: 57.0 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: X Lunch: Cottage Cheese with chicken bits and ham left over from the super salad from the other day Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Sugar Free Rockstar, Kroger Energy Shot, 2L Big K Caffeine Free Diet Cola Days Without Beer 2 Going to be a short post not because the “down” I've been feeling lately. I've actually started feeling better after work this evening. I'm not sure if the feeling better is just the alcohol from last week's beer wearing off or what. But this is going to be a short post because I had to put so much creative energy into the weight loss video that I just made and the only thing that I would do is just repeat what I put into that video. That and the computer has been acting a bit wonky today. So it's getting pretty close to midnight and I want this to be a daily blog. I had recorded the Weigh In Vlog this morning, but it recorded from the wrong microphone so I ha

I'm not sure if that is effecting me though, according to my smartwatch I did get a whole hour and a half of sleep. /sarcasm I was doing a pretty good imitation of a fish on the wrong end of a taser all night long.       At first I was thinking that it might have been the four cans of caffeinated soda that I had with dinner last night that I drank pretty much right b

"Daily" Keto Blog August 30, 2023

Weight: 343.0 lbs (155.6 kg) BMI: 44 Waist: 58 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 78.4% Breakfast: Sausage Patties and Eggs Lunch: Low Carb Jambalaya, small bag of Cool Ranch Doritos Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: Pot of Coffee with cream, Kroger energy shot, 12oz can Big K cola      I actually had time this morning before work to sit around. I was sitting here thinking that I was supposed to be doing something. And then, “Oh, right I'm trying to be a blogger!” Standing on the scale this morning was a bit disappointing. The problem with Keto is that it really only works when you're doing it. And I was doing quite well for the first quarter of this year. Heck I was down almost 20 pounds by mid-February. But I fell into the beer trap. And I just could not get anything done while I'm drinking beer. Beer is a downer, and I'm already a pretty down person. I keep telling myself that I'm too busy to get anything done, but in reality I'm just down from drinking too much beer. I was d

Weight: 342.4 lbs ( 155.3 kg) BMI: 44 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 76% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Instant Pot Chili Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: 2 cups coffee, sparking water, 4x Milwaukee's Best ICE beers      I didn't quite get the chili done before I had to head to work. But the great thing about the Instant Pot (not sponsored) is that once it gets to the end of the time of it's pressure cooking it will depressurize and just keep the food warm. And the great thing about chili (not sponsored) is that the longer that it sits in low warmth the better the flavor gets. (I think that's how that works anyway)      Ran home for lunch to have some chili. And in the instant pot it's only supposed to be under pressure for 35 minutes and when I got home it was kept warm for three and a half hours. It turned out quite spicy. Could have used a bit of cheese. But in my opinion just about everything could use a bit of cheese.      Baked some chicken for dinn
