Really reinforcing my savings plan. But was able to go back to sleep until the proper 8am. I was able to have breakfast. And was excited to see the “down” on the scale. The back of my hands felt like sandpaper this morning. I put some of the lotions that Mom gave me a couple of months ago. For a while I was doing a bit of an experiment with them doing the “Healing Lotion” on my right hand and the “Moisturizing Lotion” on my left hand. But the book I was trying to read was “ The Children of Húrin” by JRR Tolkien. Professor Tolkien is an amazing writer. He is great at building his world through his characters. The problem is I have a hard time remembering people by their names. So he'll spend three pages saying who this person is, where they lived, who is in their family, and then Oh, they died. Then he just says somebody elses name, and the story just expects you to know who they are.  It was odd this morning I woke up with Amazing Grace playing in my head.   Didn't get a chance to stand on the scale this morning Breakfast: Doritos w/Queso Lunch: Johnsonville Jalapeno Cheddar Sausages, Macaroni Salad Drinks: 2x Sparkling waters, 2x Kroger Energy shots, 2L Pepsi Zero Wild Cherry Dinner: Pork steaks      Finished off the Doritos and queso for breakfast this morning I forgot about the “Don't eat unless hungry” part of the plan. I'm not going to beat myself up about it very much. It is something that I do wish I would stick to. But I'm not going to hate myself if I don't stick to it.      Macaroni Salad sounded really good during lunch. A coworker that I've told that I am wanting to do a low-carb diet asked me if macaroni salad is low-carb. I don't think that they were trying to call me out, or be snarky or anything. And again, I am going to try avoiding eating if I'm not hungry. “Food is fuel” you don't put more gas in the car if the tank isn't empty.      THESE FLIES ARE GOING TO DRIVE ME INSANE! I'm not sure if it's the weather changing, or if it's that I just let my house get that bad. But when I'm sitting at my computer they are constantly swarming around my head. Strange that there are more flies around my computer than there are in the kitchen where the dirty dishes are. But I can't wait for it to get cold enough to kill these bastards off. I did buy a few more ingredients for making the Keto recipes that I want to make. but then just sat around not doing anything. I did thaw out my freezer to keep the stuff in my refrigerator from rotting. But by the time I had the freezer thawed out it was too late in the evening to eat anything so I didn't eat anything for dinner.
