I did manage to avoid spending any more money. It seems strange to say, “whoohoo! I didn't buy anything today!” But this is something that I need to work on.      Got the dishes done...again. For someone who keeps wanting to do meal planning I keep finding myself doing dishes. Seriously it feels like all I do each day is doing the dishes again. There are other rooms in the house that need some serious attention, but I keep getting distracted by getting the dishes done.      Had to get dishes done before I could cook the bacon and eggs for breakfast. I don't know if I need more forks, or just get used to constantly be washing the ones that I have.      Not the most Ketogenic lunch

I had set my alarms to try to wake up before dawn again. But again I just went back to sleep. I need to work on trying to get out of bed when my alarms go off. I had to work at 10 instead of 11 this morning and it kind of threw off the entire day. And I spent the entire day counting down until the end of the day as tomorrow I'm going back to vacation. I know that I had vacation a couple of weeks ago, but I am trying to use up all of my PTO before The Holidays start I'm trying to come up with anything to say about today, but it was just such a “beige day”      Feet and calves did hurt a bit in the morning, the calves did soo

The last several days I've woke up with a bit of a headache and some other “unwellness” stuff but they usually go away when I get up and moving. Today however the feet, ankles, and knees were just pain all day today. I'm seeing online that Keto can cause a deficiency in potassium and magnesium and that can cause cramping and pain in the muscles. I think I'll be adding those supplements to the shopping list for next week. I do like the idea that you should take all of your vitamins and nutrients through the food that you eat so if anybody has any suggestions for any food that I should be eating that contains the nutrients that I'm missing I would gr

Went to bed earlier than I usually do. I went to bed right after I posted last night right after midnight, but then spent several hours spinning like a rotisserie chicken. According to the health app on my phone I didn't get to sleep until 3am. I was really frustrated when I woke up and saw that it was 10 in the morning already. (And yes I can see how that could be seen as a humble brag) but I really am wanting to get out of bed earlier. And today was one of those days where I would look at the time and be disappointed that it was several hours later.       It's a bit concerning that I am up 4.2 pounds (1.9 kg) today compared to yesterday. I'm trying to tell myself that a daily we

I've been spending WAY too much time zombie scrolling. I'm not going to fully abandon all of the social medias, they're my only window to the outside world, but I spend WAY too much time staring at my phone. A normal day I usually wake up around 8am, but then lay there until I have to go to work scrolling through twitter. This has to end. I still spent all day pulling my phone out of my pocket and looking through the apps. So...today was Labor Day. What did I do for Labor Day? I worked, yes I worked for Labor Day. Yeah, that does mean that I lAbOrEd oN lAbOr DaY! That is so cre

And I don't know if I used up all of my creativity in that video or what but now at my lunch break when I'm starting to write out the daily blog I'm hitting a bit of a writers block. There are quite a few strings that I kind of grasp at that would be a good idea to write down, but they keep evaporating before I get the idea formed. This is a bit disconcerting considering that I was planning on working the General Update video this evening after work. The General Update video is a video that I want to release the first Monday of the month, but I work all day tomorrow and there's a

With the recipe videos that I recorded yesterday and the inventory I took of the freezer, I am stocked up with food for the next month and a half. So if I stick with the discipline for the next month and a half the only food I'll have to buy is bacon, coffee, and cream for said coffee. And the only dishes I'll have to do is cleaning off the pan I cook bacon in and rinsing off the bowls/silverware of the leftovers. That is if I have the discipline to stick with this plan. I know that it is a good plan because it worked before. I just didn't have the discipline to stick to it.      The “After Vacation anger” that I was expecting on Sunday showed up today after lunch. I'm not sure how much of it was me bein

Also had some coffee with cream in it. I've grown fond of coffee with cream, unfortunately I used up the last of my cream this morning. (Didn't even get the entire cup drank) So if I get up and going early enough tomorrow to get breakfast with some coffee I'll have to drink it black.      It's said that a breakfast is a good way to get more energy over the rest of the day, but I didn't feel much of a difference from today and the last few days. But I am feeling a considerable difference from this week and previous weeks. It is quite a bit easier to get up and going when doesn't feel like I'm standing on electricity when I

I even posted a picture of myself in another post to try to get it to show that picture as the thumbnail. I'm going to have to do some research on how to select a lasting thumbnail.      The weigh in this morning was a bit disconcerting. I'm guessing that it was up because of how late I ate dinner. And how much pasta I ate and the amount of water I drank yesterday      Roommate woke me up this morning with a call. He was back in town for the week so I didn't have time for breakfast. He did have us go through Scooters for some coffee, I've never had Scoo

That usually means that there was something caught under the foot pads of the scale.     Today was another day where I just could not get anything done. I did get the third recipe video edited and scheduled for release. But it was one of those days where I find myself just sitting here at the computer realizing that it was several hours since I last caught myself just sitting here at the computer.      I did manage to get some clarified butter done like I've been wanting to do for a while. But that's hardly worth mentioning as getting something done. I was able to find a couple more recipes that I would lik

This is one of the benefits of the meal planning that I want to be doing. Sure there are a lot of dishes to do once or twice a week, but for most of the rest of the week all you need to do is rinse off the bowl or plate you ate lunch or dinner in/on.      Had hot dogs for lunch. I was out of mustard at home so I picked up a bottle of spicy brown mustard. But I put too much on the hot dogs and that stuff was really sour and bitter and kind of made lunch that particular flavo

It's really important to get that thing done before I get ready for work. Whatever I do I need to get that one thing done before I leave. I have no idea what that thing is. I just can't shake the feeling that there's something important that I need to be doing.      Yesterday I was enjoying the weather and opened up the windows and turned off the heater. When I went to bed last night I forgot to close the windows so it was a bit chilly in the house this morning. It smelled really nice, a fog had rolled in last night so there was a very spring smell throughout the house. I thought about closing the windows and turning the heater back on, but the fresh air was nice. I act

I'm still guessing that Daylight savings time is throwing me off. It really did mess me up yesterday. It was about noon before I even got breakfast done. And even though I set up the slow cooker for the corned beef it was almost midnight before it was done so I had some of the mac and cheese that I had bought the other day (Had a coupon and you have to buy the stuff you have a coupon for right?)      Today I did start off on my diet pretty good with the Bacon and eggs. I had a late lunch because even though it was four almost five in the afternoon it still felt like early in the morning. Lunch today was the corned beef brisket that I had in the slow cooker yesterday. I set up the slow cooker yesterday because the corned beef was on sale so I had p

It kind of feels like my mouth and throat is dissolving, but in a good way. It's kind of like when cotton candy dissolving      Something strange is going on at the high school next door. It sounds like a jet engine is revving up. Maybe one of their industrial sized heaters was broken and they just turned it back on. But it kind of sounded like the building was about to take off.      Not sure what's going on with weight. Yeah, there's going to be daily fluctuations, but it's strange to be up 4 lbs (1.8 kg) in a single day. The weight is still down for the year, and lower than the average weight for la

The price of eggs are starting to become a meme. My sister-in-law had some chickens and I was going to get the guts to ask her if I could buy some eggs from her, but Mom told me that a raccoon got into her chicken coop and enjoyed some “Chicken tartare”      I didn't have to work until 1pm that's two extra hours to get house cleaned up to do another recipe video tomorrow after I get groceries. That is if I ever get up and doing anything. Got most of the dishes done, I'll try to convince myself to finish them when I get home from work. I really do want this to be a weekly series, but I just can't seem to get around to doing it. Weekly Weigh Ins really aren't that hard, it's just a matter of getting out of bed before I have to get running for work.      It looks like the two nights that I ate spaghetti led to quite a bit of weight increase three and half pounds in two days as apposed to the loss of an average of nearly a pound per day for must of the days this week so naturally I picked up a box of mac and cheese on the way home this evening.      The plan this evening was going to be cook dinner proper; a pork steak, and an impromptu box of mac and cheese that I decided to pick up for no reason, and while those cook I was going to start up the Instan

Did think about walking to work this morning. The weather that we're going to have this week is my favorite kind of weather. Dark, cool, and a bit rainy. That is perfection to me. But then reality reminded me that my feet burn like crazy even when I am driving the two miles to work. Maybe if I lose enough weight eventually I can get back to the point where I can walk to work again. But in the 350's (>159kg) I don't think that would be a good idea. Used the last packet of Ramen for lunch. :( Going to have to wait til payday to pick up another box. I know that Ramen isn't great for my diet, but it's go

Work was okay, we actually had everyone show up today. Still understaffed like crazy. Was oddly crazy busy. I don't know why it's been so busy this last week or so. The only thing that I can think of is that now that autumn is in full swing the sun is starting to do down earlier and when people see the sun going down they freak out and run to the store. Even though the store is open till 10 every night. But that's just how people think/act. I know that the Mac and cheese is about the opposite for the Keto diet that I keep saying that I want to be doing. But I was planning on using some boneless chicken thighs that I had left over from the last t

Just had a hard time getting the momentum going. Worked noon until 8. I did wake up around 9 am, but all I seemed to manage to get done was counting down until the time I had to get ready for work. Which really seemed to come up fast. I did manage to get some bacon and eggs fried up. What was really strange was that I was feeling really quite up and motivated for most of the morning. But as soon as I started drinking the coffee I suddenly felt like I was way past half asleep. This was a very odd feeling. I was under the impression that the caffeine in coffee would help wake me up, but after my second cup of coffee I felt that it took all of my self effort to just keep my head up. Getting to w
