I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

I wore the other pair of pants that I bought yesterday. These do have accessory pockets but oddly they have zippers on them. I don't see myself zipping these up too often. These pants have a oddly tight fit around my calves. I'm sure that they'll wear in as well. Another odd thing about them are the front pockets are oddly deep and go straight down. It's nearly up to my elbow deep. And the back pockets are strangely wide. So it's kind of hard to get my wallet out while I'm sitting down. They also seem to smell quite good to dogs, as the roommate's dog has been randomly shoving it's cold nose up against my legs all day long.

Very not very good with the diet today. Roommate sent me to the store with some money to get him some groceries until he can get his benefits. The stuff he asked me to pick up weren't exactly the best stuff for Keto, but that was the stuff he asked me to get. And I'm not going to spend someone else's money on stuff that they didn't ask for. And for lunch I had some of the Mac and Cheese with Hot Dogs that I picked up for him. Interestingly I again had to pass through the beer isle because of how busy it was in the large store. I only paused for a moment to take notice were I was, but I really didn't want a beer. There have been times when I tell myself that I don't want a beer, but I still pick up a case. But today the temptation just wasn't there. Probably because I was in a hurry, already over budget, and buying for someone else.

For dinner I was at a family gathering celebrating Christmas. Mom likes to have family gatherings the Saturday before or after the actual holiday so she doesn't have to compete with other branches of families. I was the one to boldly suggest that we have it today. As I was using up the last of my PTO for the year. It is kind of fun that I happened to suggest that the day that we do the family gathering celebrating Christmas happened to fall on the Solstice. And if I understand correctly Christmas was kind of co-opted from the pagans' Solstice Celebrations. Also kind of fun that today was 12/21 and palindromes are fun. And Christmas is a celebration that includes a whole lot of snack food. And not necessarily low carb snack food. I'm not feeling guilty for eating Christmas food on Christmas, I'm just being honest on this blog. For the last couple of years at Mom's house we've been having a tradition of playing a game to give out prizes as gifts. My sister brought a Plinko board and set different colored bows at the “prize” end of the game and when the disk landed on a colored bow, you could pick a prize out of the pile with the corresponding color of bow. And for the Grand Prize Golden Bow there was a “Family Prize” and My Nephew won a Ice Cream maker for him and My Sisters' family. I really love the tradition of playing games with the family. I really don't even need the prizes/gifts/whatever. It's just fun to hang out with the family having fun. I won a box of “European Cookies” so the next couple of days will list those in the “Snacks” or at least I'll try to make those last a couple of days. Probably shouldn't make any promises.

It was fun to see my sister who lives in Ohio came down to visit for Christmas.
