I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Had a hard time falling asleep last night. Didn't feel bad or sick or anything. It's just that sleep just didn't happen. I wonder if it had anything to do with the couple glasses of soda that I had at Grandma's Christmas party. I'm not usually affected (effected?) by caffeine, but lately I've been avoiding any caffeinated drinks in the evenings. But although I had a hard time getting to sleep, I was able to get out of bed fairly easily this morning.

I had a bit of a Christmas Miracle this morning. I usually get paid on Thursday and normally when payday lands on a holiday we get paid a day early. I was assuming that we'd get paid on Thursday like normal. I wasn't sure if the pay stub would be updated this evening but I was expecting the paycheck tomorrow. But when I woke up this morning and checked my balance I was surprised to see that my paycheck had came in this morning. It was a massive relief to see paycheck come in. I wasn't worried about getting a paycheck. It's just that when I was leaving the store last night to go to Grandma's Christmas party the car's “Low Fuel” notification came on. And the low fuel notification comes on within an estimated 20 miles from empty. And it's about 15 miles from the store, to Grandma's, to home. So I got home last night, but I wasn't sure how much farther I could get. And yes I did get money for Christmas last night, but that money wasn't in my checking account, and I don't think that Gas Stations like dealing with $100 notes. But since I got the paycheck this morning I got a full tank of gas. And as it was the last paycheck of the month I paid all of the bills for the next month. The only bill that is left is the Car Insurance. And I'll pay that next week. It would have been nice to start the year off with all of the bills paid, but I pay the car insurance off all at once and that's a relatively large bill. And a fun thing is that I'm going to have that massive car insurance bill come due in between two weeks that I'm scheduled for holiday overtime heh. I say that it's a massive bill, but the six month bill is still considerably cheaper than the monthly bill that I was paying for the other insurance company.

Roommate brought up the fact that in Japan there is a really big tradition of going to KFC for Christmas. And this is the first time in a while that he's actually home for the holidays. Unfortunately our local KFC was closed. As was quite a few restaurants, the only place that was open was the IHOP but there was a wait of over an hour at lunch time.

Took quite a bit of time today cleaning out the fridge. It's been collecting quite the smell for a while now. The time I spent on cleaning out the fridge made lunch kind of a joke because it was 5:45 by the time I got it cooked. And it was a bit awkward because I had set up the slow cooker with a Mississippi Roast earlier in the day. So I had grilled some hamburger patties and cooked up the last of the boxed Mac and Cheese that we had. And then a couple hours later, “Hey the roast is ready!”

This evening is another one of those strange evenings. Where it was like, "Hey it's 6:30" blink, "I mean it's 7: 45" blink, "I really need to hurry to get to bed." I think some of the problem is that the sun is still going down so early it's hard to tell time during the evening. It's after the Solstice so days, thankfully, are going to start getting longer. But it's going to be a bit before it's noticeable.

Finished off the European Cookie box, Christmas parties are over, and I got the meal plan together, so I should be back to the Keto/Sobriety Blog tomorrow.
