I know that it's going to be a “Vitamin P” kind of thing, but it would be nice if the waist line was as dynamic as the scale. I have noticed over the last couple of days the gut had been more “Saggy” and soft. Good news is that means I'm losing fat, bad news is that it's going to start drooping under my shirt if I'm not careful. But I'll take saggy gut over sore feet any day of the week. And on that point feet and shins felt amazing this morning. It sucked last night a screw came out of the back of my computer chair. I was able to put the screw back in. And it seems to be holding, but for a while I was thinking that I was going to have to buy a new one. That would kind ...

Sober Day 6

Strange last night I had to wake up several times to pee. This is strange for me. Maybe because of how many carbs I ate lately? All of the Seltzer Water?

The up in the weight this morning is within normal daily fluctuations, so I'm trying to not beat myself up too much about the carbs in the last couple of days. Especially considering that some of those carbs were from a Christmas party.

The European Cookies are REALLY good dipped in coffee. The European Cookies are kind of like a box of chocolates, (except you know what you're going to get.) it is a verity box of different cookies. I don't want to eat them all at once because, well carbs, and also I don't want to just scarf down the Christmas present all in one sitting. But these really are really good dipped in coffee. The salted coffee, and sweet cookie is a good combination. I didn't have very many cookies today, but I don't want to call this a Keto blog until I'm through them all.

It was probably a mistake to take a weekly vacation the week before Christmas. Today is my first day back to work and it's three days before Christmas. And the first couple days back from vacation takes a lot of self control to stay employed. And that's during a normal time of the year. Now I'll have to deal with my “post vacation anger issues” and everybody else's holiday stress. Of course I'm writing this part before work, and it's more than likely a bad idea to go into work thinking of all of the bad things that could happen.

I was going to make a “Mark Complains About Work Section”, but it was getting out of hand needless to say I made some additions to my Store Stories To-Do List. Something I'm a bit wary of is that later in the evening I was coming out of the office and missed a step. Now my left ankle is kind of grumpy at me. Not in a way that I think I injured it, but definitely in a way that reminded me that I'm really wanting to lose weight and was standing around all day before giving a really hard STOMP.

Had Taco Soup for lunch today. I was kind of surprised when I tried to log it into my calorie counter app on my phone because the recipe wasn't saved. I've cooked this several times for myself before, and surprisingly it wasn't in the saved labels in my blog either. I know that I've had it quite often before.

Last week I got a surprise delivery. Apparently someone donated a crap-ton of Eggnog to the Soup Kitchen and they decided to leave them on random doorsteps. Roommate and I were joking about getting some rum to enjoy the nog. And this evening I was getting some chicken out of the fridge and saw the expiration date on the Eggnog. It had expired on the 18th. They were handing out expired food as “Gifts for the Holidays” Very neighborly of them. -_- Oh, well. The Eggnog isn't good for Keto, and the Rum wouldn't be good for sobriety.

I'm a bit annoyed about how long it's taking this chicken to bake. I'm trying to get to bed earlier, but it's going to be quite late by the time it's done.
