So I naturally slept in WAY too late. I had time to cook breakfast, but didn't do much else. Doctor says that getting up in the morning to try to get out into the sun is a good way to stave off the seasonal depression and I do have a small patio outside of my apartment so I have been thinking about buying a small table and putting a chair out there so that I can eat breakfast out on the patio and absorb some of the morning sun. But of course if I'm going to do that I'm going to have to start waking up in the morning. And as I'm writing this first part I'm needing to run out of the door three minutes ago. I was feeling alright before I left for work,

I had absolutely no “go” this morning. This really was the kind of day where (when?) I was just kind of waiting for the day to end so I could just go home. I keep coming back to the idea that I need to get a “Grown Up Job” I just can't but wonder if I ruined everything by staying at the store for so long. People tell me that I have a good work history because I worked at one place for over 20 years. But now I'm 37 years old with no education, other experiences outside of working at a grocery store. I've been told that it's never too late to go back to school and get an education etc. But I barely have the money or mental energy to work at what I'm doing. IDK m

Good First Half of the Day Daily Keto/Sobriety Blog November 20, 2023

Weight: 340.8 lbs (154.6 kg) BMI: 43.8 Waist: 57.0 in (147.3 cm) WtHr: 77% Breakfast: Bacon and eggs Lunch: Cottage Cheese with pepper and garlic powder Dinner: Rib eye and butter Drinks: Pot of coffee with cream, 1800 ml water Days Without Beer 3 Felt 1,000% better today than I've felt this entire weekend. This is purely speculative but I really stopped feeling good after eating the Nathan's Hot Dogs two days in a row and then a rack of the Kansas City Style Bake in Bag Ribs. And I'm sure that the Michelob Ultra didn't help much. My guess is that I had a reaction to the processed meat in the hot dogs and the “seasonings” on the “Bake in Bag” ribs might have stuff in them that break ketosis. Sure a “Serving” of those ribs might be fine, but I didn't eat “a serving” of that rack of ribs.” and had a hell of a lot more than “a serving” of the Michelob Ultra on Friday. So let's see according to the can there's 2.6 grams of carbohydrates per 12oz can of Mich

Makes me wonder if there are other stimulants in them. Also woke up with a nasty stinging headache, it wore off as I got up and started moving around.      Seems almost blasphemous, but I'm kinda getting tired of having bacon and eggs for breakfast everyday. I think next time I get groceries I'll pick up some sausages instead of more bacon. There is the option of skipping breakfast, but intentionally skipping breakfast just makes me obsess about food all day. (Well, even more than I already do)      I did take my water bottle with me to work, but I was running Self Checkout until I was running the Customer Service desk. Neither of those po

Weight: 340.8 lbs ( 154.6 kg) BMI: 43.8 Waist: 56 in ( 142.2 cm) WtHr: 75.7% Breakfast: Bacon Lunch: Baked Chicken Dinner: Wasn't hungry Drinks: Tap Water      Kind of grumbling about today's weigh in. I know that I shouldn't be too broken up about the day to day, and just keep in mind the weekly average. And it's only up one pound. But I'm up a pound the morning after eating an entire box of mac and cheese. I'm mainly just grumpy because I'm back over 340. So am I back over 340 because I ate some pasta, because I'm one person eating a box of mac and cheese that is intended for 4 people, or is it just day to day fluctuations. I'm telling myself not to worry about it.      I was going to do some grocery shopping to buy another couple of recipes to make videos of, but this next week I have the electricity and natural gas bills coming through. At least I'm praying that they come through next week. When you pay the bills at the store it tak

Weight: 340.8 lbs (154.6 kg) BMI: 43.8 Waist: 56. (142.2 cm) WtHr: 76.4% Breakfast: Bacon and fried eggs Lunch: Chili Dogs Dinner: Baked Chicken Drinks: pot of coffee, several glasses of water      My scale is teasing me! (joke) I was so excited to be back in the 330's (~149-153 kg) I haven't been under 340 since February 2020 and I haven't been consistently under 340 lbs (154 kg) since early 2019. I know that daily weight fluctuations happen, but it would be nice to be back in the 330's I remember back when I was fluctuating back around 339-340 when I was under 340's my feet felt SO much better. I do know that when I'm under 350 lbs (159 kg) I have a lot more energy. So under 350 (159 kg) I have more energy, under 340 lbs (154 kg) my feet stop hurting, I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm going to feel when I'm under 330lbs (150 kg) and 320 lbs (145 kg)    Once again I was in an amazing mood on the way to work and as soon as I walk in the door

Notes: I don't know if I can promise that I'll be all that consistent with these posts. Every once in a while I'll get the idea to do a daily food log / weigh in. but then it'll be several months later when I get the idea again to log anything in it. Today I decided to start this up again because I was starting to be really good on my Keto Diet over the last week or so and when I weighed myself this morning I was down 5 pounds compared to my Sunday Weekly Weigh In video. And seeing exciting progress I thought I would start up a food log again. We'll see if I can actually stick to a food log or not, but I wa
