Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Weight: 336 lbs ( 152.4 kg) BMI: 43.1 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Mac Dinner: St Louis Style Pork Ribs Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Month 9 (Day 297) Last day of the last week of vacation for the year :( I swear that I did wake up this morning with the thought of getting things done. But then I just didn't. I really just sat here at the computer playing phone games. I kept telling myself that I could open up the list of videos that I could work on, but I never find the mental energy to do so. I did kind of half pay attention to some game announcements. A lot of people are talking about some major announcements that are supposed to happen with the Halo video game franchise in the next couple of weeks. So that's something to look forward to. (Not that my computer would be able to run any new games) The notice for my car's registration tags came in the mail today. It was $80 lower...

Weight: 333.8 lbs ( 151.4 kg) BMI: 42.9 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bologna Sandwiches Snack: Kroger Cheddar Sour Cream Chips Lunch: Bologna Sandwich Cheesy Ramen Dinner: Pork Steak Mac and Cheese Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sober Month 9 (Day 296) Pleasantly surprised by the drop on the scale this morning. I had thought that the scale was glitching again, but it gave a consistent number each time I stepped on it. I slept in considerably later than I normally do. It is strange for me to sleep all of the way until 10:30. I'm not sure why I decided to have the sandwiches for breakfast this morning. I came to the justification that it was so late in the morning it really counted as an early lunch. But then I felt weird that I was trying to justify a meal when I woke up. Today was another day where I sat around thinking to myself that I really needed to do something. But I couldn't think of anything to do. I did run to th...

Weight: 337.4 lbs ( 153 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Tortilla Chips Snack: Tortilla Chips and Queso Dinner: Hamburger Helper Double Cheeseburger Macaroni  Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Budweiser Zero Sober Month 9 (Day 295) Woke up early enough to have breakfast as I did have an appointment to get the oil changed in my car this morning. I did was nervously staring at my watch all morning. The appointment was at 10am and I woke up at 8am but I spent the entire morning doing the math of how much time I had and how much time it would take to do something. And conveniently I did get a coupon in the mail a couple of days ago for an oil change for $39.99 (not sponsored) I thought that was a great deal but I had noticed that the coupon had said in the fine print that it was a $50 savings. That would mean that the base price for an oil change would be close to $80. I know that a lot of thin...

Weight: 336.4 lbs ( 152.6 kg) BMI: 43.2 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Steak and Eggs Lunch: Pizza Soup https://youtu.be/Ow6p41Hqt1o Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 9 (Day 275) Keto Week Day 1 Really disappointed at the scale this morning. I know that happiness is not a number on the scale, but the weight this morning resets the entire weight for the month. Still down 10.3 lbs for the year. I'm not sure if it was the bad breakfast that I had yesterday or what caused the weight gain today. Or if it explained the pain today. But my left foot was really sore all day long. And later in the evening my right butt cheek started feeling sore. Possibly because of compensating for the sore foot. Too wiped out from work to make a full post. I was scheduled to close the desk so I was supposed to get off at 9pm, but right at 8:30 when I was going to start doing the closing reports there was a swa...

I keep it to one page before I post it on here. I haven't made 600 posts on this blog. I'm not sure where to look to see how many posts I've made. It hasn't always been a Sobriety or even Keto Blog, I will be proud to get up to 600 on either of those counts though.  Wow, up 8 lbs in two days. It would be unwise to blame all of that gain on one thing, but I don't think I'll have any of those Jumbo Jumbo Hot Dogs anymore. Feet, ankles, and left hip were really grumpy this morning. And my gut felt like it was overfilled. Like uncomfortably stuffed, even though I hadn't eaten in almost 12 ho...

I was going to stack up the data from one of them to get an idea of what an average weight per day was and maybe get a projection of the future weights. I had worked on that spreadsheet for the better part of two days...without saving. I really need to start remembering to save projects. I had all three original spreadsheets and the Daily Blog open and they all decided to crash just scrapping the data from the last two days. I'm going to pass on making that new spreadsheet it was just coming out as just a bunch of noisy data and the graphs on that spreadsheet just didn't want to work out. I'll just stick wi...

Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 153 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Paleo Keto Gumbo  Dinner: Baked Boneless Rib Eye Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Sugar Free Monster, Sugar Free Red Bull, Sober Month 6 (Day 200) Keto Day 1 I closed the desk last night so I was late getting home so by the time I got done recovering from work it was time to go to bed. I had a Paranoid Schizophrenic come through the desk last night so that was interesting. Lady came up to the desk asking to check the balance of a gift card. It was a gift card for the store so that's one I can check the balance of. She asked if the name on the back of the card was an “Islamisist Name” It just said, “From a Friend” but it was in cursive. She insisted that Islamisists” were forcing her into homelessness and into forced prostitution. They had hacked her Social Security and was stealing her Housing Vouchers to force her into slavery. I wasn't really sure on how to h...

What I was trying to do was to fill out the entire local map. The problem was that as I walked around the sun would go down and monsters would come out at night. I carried a bed with me to “Sleep through the night” but a lot of times when I placed the bed down the monsters would spawn too closely to my bed and I would try fighting them off to sleep, but a lot of times when I was fighting one monster another one would come up behind me and blow me up. If you can get back to the point where your character was killed quickly enough you can pick up the stuff that you had, but the thing is that a lot of time the point where I died would be on the other side of the play area ...

Weight: 340.4 lbs ( 152.9 kg) BMI: 43.7 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Strip Steak and Eggs Lunch: Keto Clam Chowder Dinner: Mac and Cheese and Smoked Sausages Drinks: Salted Coffee with butter, 5 Hour Energy Shot, Sugar Free Red Bull Sober Month 6 (Day 181?) I really need to get back to the diet. I've been sober since December, so yay Six Months sober. Not that I haven't been...Thirsty, from time to time. But I just have a hard time sticking to the diet. April really was the best weight loss progress month, but then May stayed really flat, and then June really tracked up really quickly. I haven't been at 340 since March and that average hadn't been since February. And today was the first time since February that I was over the average for the year. Another thing with getting back to the diet is Mind/Body/Spirit. Yeah, my feet, ankles, and knees are yelling at me by the end of the day. But I'm just getting off of work and just collapsing at my...

Worried About The Paycheck Keto/Sobriety Blog May 22, 2025

But I'm REALLY KIND OF FREAKED OUT that the paycheck hasn't landed in my bank account this morning. The pay stub usually updates on Wednesday around 7pm and I usually check the site as I'm leaving work on Wednesday, but I was off yesterday so I didn't bother checking the site and I was just expecting the deposit at midnight like usually happens. I checked my balances after posting last night...and it wasn't there. I tried to check the website were the pay stubs are posted and it wasn't responding. So I downloaded the related app. After a bit of login and signing up drama, I was able to check my pay stub...and it wasn't there. The last pay stu...

Got distracted by Oblivion last night so I didn't get around to posting. Or at least that'll be the excuse that I'll use.  It is nice to be back down to 330 (149.7 kg) Goal is currently at 320 (145.1 kg) but I seem to be back on track now.  I did manage to defrost the freezer and take an inventory yesterday. Frustratingly the freezer is still overfilled. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? Yeah, I bought some more Bratwursts, and a Pork Butt cut into steaks. But that's all I bought and it was still a challenge to get everything back into the freezer even with the stuff I got out for the weekly meal plan. I didn't think that I had bought more than the seven lunches and sev...

I do have to say using those weight machines were very satisfying. It was also nice to hang out with Mom in an activity that she enjoys so much. It is somewhat of an entertaining thought that my mother is becoming a gym rat. I'm going to have to do some research on how lifting weights effect someone mentally. As I was leaving the gym I was feeling like I was drunk. But by the time I got to work I felt normal PHYSICALLY . But there was something going on with my mind and spirit. Because, WOW people were extra irritating today.  I'm going to make a really long, “Mark Whines About Work Blog” But these are just a few examples of what I had to deal with. These are kind ...
