Weight: 337.2 lbs ( 139.7 kg) BMI: 43.3 Waist: 55 in (139.7 cm) WtHr: 74.3% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs Lunch: Taco Chili Cheese Curl Chips Dinner: Ham Steak Drinks: Salted Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Low Carb Monster, Sober Month 10 (Day 301) Dang that was a jump on the scale. I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

I just keep sitting around counting down how much time I have until I have to go to work and not much else. Just as I was starting to cook breakfast the maintenance guy for the condo complex startled me as just as I turned on the stove I heard a banging on the door and a frantic ringing of the doorbell. I wasn't sure what was going on and I recognized the guy. He asked if the red car in the parking lot was mine. I was a bit nervous for the asking. He asked me if I had any other cars. I was getting scared why he was asking about my car. Be he just said that he was repainting the lines and numbers on the parking lot for the building. ...

And they quickly found out that there was a Soviet experiment that went sideways and there were dinosaurs all over the jungle. So it was a Vietnam war movie mixed with Jurassic Park. It, surprisingly, had a lot of character de...

I was kind of curious messing around with the spending comparison spreadsheet on Friday. The spending is up $513 compared to last year, but I was curious to see how the balances looked each day this year compared to last year. It wasn't a hard task, but it was a bit complicated because the savings strategy has evolved over time so I had to have some columns for the Checking account and then had to build in the columns for the various savings accounts. I knew that I was down from last year. But I hadn't had a day that I had more money this year than last year since March when I had that oil sensor repaired on my car. And then a couple of days here in September were finally getting caught up. I was plann...

Spent the day playing Oblivion. Got a good chunk of the locations discovered now it's just a matter of doing the quests for the locations. And it's kind of fun that one location has quests for other locations. A farmer tasks you to clear out a cave full of goblins to receive a family heirloom that you need to drop off at a shrine kind of quests. While playing the game I was listening to videos on YouTube. But the long form documentaries seemed to have a hard time sticking to a specific topic. For example I clicked on a video that was supposed to be about the Bronze Age Collapse, but half way throu...

The chapter was about how Black Holes were interacting with Quantum Mechanics to basically evaporate. And yeah, quantum mechanics are weird and hard to understand. But the words might as well have been flowing in my eyes and out of my ears. When I finished the chapter and realized that I didn't really “read” any of it as my brain was really just shut off I figured I might as well just go to sleep because it was “so late” and checked the time...it was only 10:30pm. Half of my mind was telling me that it was so early I should just get up and do something, the other half of m...

It doesn't actively hurt. But every time I rub my nose, or touch my face there's a bit of a sore spot right at the bottom of the right nostril right between where the facial hair an my nose is  For what is supposed to be my day off on a normal week and Vacation this week today had a lot of running around. Woke up right as Roommate had to go to his appointment. Did the grocery shopping while he was in there. I was going to pay the electricity and gas bills while at the store, but had forgotten to write down the account numbers. So I had to run home to get the account numbers. Just as soon as I wrote down the account numbers for the bills Ro...

I was trying to read Dr Stephen Hawking's "A brief History of Time" I would like to know what divine power is involved that every time I come across something explaining Quantum Mechanics I am always dead tired. I know that quantum mechanics are inherently incomprehensible, but just once I would like to come across when I'm awake and sober. Eight months sober, but it was half past midnight my eyelids were sticking and I'm trying to read about the double slit light experiment and particle/wave duality   Did a little bit of cherry picking on the weight this morning as the sc...

Which I found to be fascinating. When I went to bed I was really tired. I even had to go back onto the blog to correct some things after I posted. But yesterday I really didn't have as many energy drinks that I normally would have. I normally would have had two cans Sugar Free Red Bull over the day. But this week the Powerade is on sale for $1.00 (not sponsored) so instead of the $3 a can of Red Bull I drank the $1 Powerade. But I was doing the rotisserie chicken last night when I went to bed. I went to bed at around midnight, but was struggling to stay awake since 10:30, but the sleep tracking on my phone says that I didn't fall asleep until 2:45 ...

Probably TMI I wasn't confident that today would have a weigh in that was down from previous days as I hadn't pooed in the last couple of days. I had a movement after breakfast. I wasn't feeling uncomfortable, or had any distress it is interesting that I'm always dropping that right after breakfast. I'm going to guess that the coffee is helping with that. It would just be nice if I were to drop that much it would happen before I weighted in and had breakfast...

And trust me that I've had to learn to save my work several times over the last couple of days. 2025 looks like it's going to be a fascinating year. This year started with highest weights ever recorded, and if the projection holds true (fingers crossed) it'll have some of the lowest weights recorded. I haven't had a year where I've averaged a weight lower than 330 lbs (150 kg) since 2015 and since 2025 started with such a high weight it's unlikely that the a...

I've been wondering around the map discovering locations. So far I've discovered 50% of the locations, but only cleared 8% of all of them. A challenge with clearing the locations is that the designers of these dungeons seem to be allergic to straight lines and they are all winding confusing caves also clearing out the dungeon gathers loot. And my character can only carry so much at a time. So I'll clear a room, and them run back to town to sell loot, and then go back to the cave. I did have a chuckle when I found a pair of Blue Suede Shoes. When I got back to town to sell them. The shop keeper bought them for 1 gold. There are all kinds of pants, shirts, and shoes that the bad guys drop to be sold for gold so ...

I've been hard bingeing Oblivion over the last several days so I didn't take the time to make much progress on anything else. I had started a new play through so I can truly track all of the locations that I've discovered and that did put me in a bit of a funk as I was up to 60 hours on the last play through and restarted and all of that time was just wiped out. And starting that again kind of hurt. But this play through I've found 139 locations but only cleared 24 of them. That's 43% locations found but only 7% of the locations cleared. But I'm going to try to not have my time so absorbed by the game. I'm going to stop tracking “Keto” days until (if?) Roommate goe...

Kind of why I'm not saying that the particular goal is “beaten” just yet. I'm not too worried about it being up today, I had a bit of a large dinner last night. Although in a couple of days when the new month comes around I think I'll set the goal down from 330 lbs (149.7 kg) to 320 lbs (145.2 kg) Not that I think that I'll drop an entire 10 lbs (4.5 kg) in a single month. Or if I think that is a sustainable rate. But I just like setting the goal in that increment Didn't do much today. I just played Minecraft. I am still corridor mining. I dug down to the bedrock and and am digging hallways every 10 meters and digging until I get to the other end of the corridor I set. I've found a ...

But it faded as I had to get ready for work. At least I had time to make breakfast. I could feel the good mood deflate as I drove to work. After I clocked in I stopped in the restroom real quick, and the belt buckle snapped off. So that put me into a great mood. The jeans that I was wearing fit enough that they weren't immediately dropping off, but I had to keep adjusting them the entire first half of the day. And naturally I was working a 5:3 split today, so I had to work five hours before lunch. I ran home for lunch and grabbed the old belt that was stretched out to hell and back. The old belt is so stretched out tha...

With the recipe videos that I recorded yesterday and the inventory I took of the freezer, I am stocked up with food for the next month and a half. So if I stick with the discipline for the next month and a half the only food I'll have to buy is bacon, coffee, and cream for said coffee. And the only dishes I'll have to do is cleaning off the pan I cook bacon in and rinsing off the bowls/silverware of the leftovers. That is if I have the discipline to stick with this plan. I know that it is a good plan because it worked before. I just didn't have the discipline to stick to it.      The “After Vacation anger” that I was expecting on Sunday showed up today after lunch. I'm not sure how much of i...

I was laying in bed thinking of all of the stuff I want to get done today, but Tuesdays are my days off, but I have a lot to do today...repeat.      When I did finally convenience myself to get going I was excited to see that I was back under 330 lbs (149.7 kg) again! It's only by 3oz (90g) But hey, it's still under the last goal. Unlikely to meet the next goal ( 320 lbs {145.2 kg} by June 5) 330 lbs is the goal that I've been working on for the longest. And that's the one where I know if I hit it, I'm on the right track. When I'm not doing things right I'm never under 330 lbs. Waistline is up a bit from yesterday, but I'm noticing that the sides of the gut are sinking in again. ...

It was probably too much diet soda yesterday. I am excited that my waist measurement is down. I don't think I've had a 54 inch waist since 2018. This wasn't even "creative rounding" or anything. It really was right at 54 inches! And like 330 lbs (149.7 kg) 54 inches (137.2 cm) seems to be another hurdle that I struggle with. So if I can make progress on that it would be quite exciting. It is kind of interesting that 0.5 inches off of the waist is 0.6% off of the WtHr      Saw some weather forecasts for this weekend and people are pretty excited that the highs are going to be in the 60's ( >15 C) This weekend. Haven't updated that goal just yet. I have 10 pound milestones and it is still too close to the 330 (149.7 kg) goal to be satisfied that I am past that goal. Waist is still in the mid fifties, but I noticed myself lifting up on the gut because it seems to be resting on the area under the gut more often. So it does seem to be making progress, (which I do appreciate) it'd just be nice if that progress was in the circumference and not just in the slack. I can measure the circumference, I don't know how to measure the sagging of the gut.      Breakfast again was bacon and eggs. This is four strips of bacon and three fried eggs. I'm kind of getting tired of fried eggs. I was only able to eat two of the eggs. ...
