I was just flopping around all night long. I do remember my alarm going off at 8am. I blinked and then woke up at 10am. Today's weight is a good weigh in as it is the lowest weight of the year so far. Since I slept in and had a hard time getting up and going I didn't have time to drink as much coffee as I normally would have. I had the strip steak and eggs. I didn't get a chance to cook the eggs as thoroughly as I normally would have. The flavor of easy cooked eggs are good, but they're harder to eat in a hurry. As of 11:45 no sign of the check being returned or any overdraft/return check fee. Still holding my breath on that. But the paycheck still shows as “Pending” but the Rent check doesn't show as pending anymore. So I'm still budgeting for the $29 fee. Thankfully they are AAA batteries which are pretty cheep, unfortunately I won't be able to afford new batteries for the scale until I do the grocery shopping tomorrow. Something I am concerned about is that there seems to be a strange corrosion all over the batteries that were in the scale. And it seems to have infected the springs in the battery container..hole..I'm not sure the name for the area where the batteries go, but I am kind of surprised to see actual coil springs in modern technology. Not in the greedy sort of way, but in the something bit me kind of way. There's a bright red spot on the base of my thumb and on the top of my right pointer finger whenever I wash my hands. Over the day the level of itch was low enough that it wasn't really that distracting. But if I was standing around not doing anything I would catch myself picking at my finger. Kind of surprised to see the weight progress over the last couple of days. Almost seems to be back on track. There's been a bit of a weight loss plateau over the last couple of months. Spent a lot of time of it just respawning. Getting started in that game is pretty brutal. Thankfully one of the Mods Roommate installed was “Tombstones” where when your character is killed it leaves a tombstone where all of your in game items are stored and when you respawn you're given a note showing the coordinates of where all of your items are. The frustration there was another Mod that Roommate installed was for a specific enemy mob that would be swarms of this wizard that you're supposedly supposed to find the “real” one, but there will be swarms of clones running around attacking you. It took a while for the Instant Pot to get up to pressure, and that was after the rushing around to get it in the pot itself. The plan was to get the instant pot chili set up for the lunch for the week. Well, I was going to do that yesterday, but I needed to do laundry yesterday. And as it only takes 35 minutes at pressure to cook this chili and I was scheduled to work at 11:30 instead of 11am I figured that it would be fine to get that pot done before work. It was taking so long for it to get to pressure I looked it up on Reddit, and apparently the larger recipes take longer to pressurize because the entire pot has to get up to boiling ...
