I'm thinking about getting back into Keto. I'm not going to jump immediately back into it as I still have several boxes of Hamburger Helper (not sponsored) and some other Non-Keto meals that are going to be the cheaper options. I don't think that I'll start up the Keto Count until Roommate goes back to work, but I am going to try to buy and eat more meat biased meals. I'm just going to have to research some cheaper dinners. Of course I say that and then at lunch I buy some cheese curls The weight is still 13.8 lbs (6.3 kg) down from last year and 8.27 lbs (3.75 kg) down from average, but still it is frustrating that all of that progress over the last couple of months was wiped out so quickly...

Sober Month 7 (Day 213)
Keto Day 2

Struggled before work today to get the Instant Pot Chili set up. It took a while for the Instant Pot to get up to pressure, and that was after the rushing around to get it in the pot itself. The plan was to get the instant pot chili set up for the lunch for the week. Well, I was going to do that yesterday, but I needed to do laundry yesterday. And as it only takes 35 minutes at pressure to cook this chili and I was scheduled to work at 11:30 instead of 11am I figured that it would be fine to get that pot done before work. It was taking so long for it to get to pressure I looked it up on Reddit, and apparently the larger recipes take longer to pressurize because the entire pot has to get up to boiling temperature. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it did get done by the time I had to leave for work. But only barely.

Went through the day just kind of zombie shuffling around. Not really much happened. It wasn't that busy. It had busy moments of course, but everything went fairly smoothly.

It was quite warm and humid, but it's July in Kansas. They're kind of going back and forth if there's going to be thunderstorms, but again, July in Kansas. I did pick up a bottle of Powerade Zero this afternoon as I was carrying out for most of the first half. I've heard both sides of an argument on if drinking Sports drinks is a good thing when getting hot and sweaty.

I did have a Red Bull (not sponsored) and I am wanting to try to get off of energy drinks. But at least it was the sugar free version. And last time I tried to quit energy drinks Management called up me up into the office

Dinner was a baked rib eye as when I got home I was just so fried from work. Not sure why I was so tired. The tiredness I was feeling was almost like it was a panic buy before a holiday or something, but it just wasn't that kind of busy today. It might be because while I as doing laundry yesterday Mom's Air Conditioning was out. No disrespect to her, and she did get it fixed today, but yesterday I was sitting in the heat all day. It got up to 92 degrees (33 c) in her house yesterday, and I am glad that it was repaired today. And speaking of getting too hot, I overcooked the steak tonight. I got impatient and put the steaks in the oven before it got done preheating and then started the timer after it got to temperature. It wasn't burnt, but it was more than well done.
