Brain is flat lining again today. I keep catching myself just sitting here at the computer. I blink and it seems to be an hour and a half later.
It was quite busy today at work. But the day went smoothly. There was a moment of frustration a kid that was supposed to work yesterday who had a doctors note about not being able to work for the next week or so. The manager didn't bother telling anybody until about an hour before he was supposed to come in to tell anybody that he wasn't going to be able to come in. Thankfully they were able to convince one person to stay late and another to come in on her day off. The frustration there was the guy who stayed late was the guy who is mentally challenged who randomly chatters to himself, and the lady who came in is the older lady who refuses to work any harder than anybody else, so if she's the only carryout she requires constant nitpicking to do every single thing that she's supposed to do. But at least we had people to come in.
I picked up a small bag of chips on my break. Not very Keto, but I was really craving the salt of the chips when I went to break.
I did make someone upset when I got back from my 15 minute break. This week the Pepsi 12 packs are on sale Buy 2 Get 2 free. And the Coca-Cola 12 packs are Buy 2 Get 1 free. (Not Sponsored) A lot of people are confused that they can't mix and match between the two brands. And a lot of people can't seem to understand how the number of items they buy effect how the order will cost. People keep buying 2 cases of Coke and 1 case of Pepsi or will buy 2 cases of Pepsi and 2 Cases of Coke and they'll get upset that they didn't get any for free. Lady demanded to know why it didn't say on the sign that the two brands don't have mix and match. Well it wouldn't have to. One brand is on one sale, and the other brand is on another. This sale is not that sale. There would be no reason one sale would effect the other sale. Except for the fact that for quite a while all of the 12 packs of soda were on sale for Buy Two Get Two, or Buy 2 Get 3. But this week the different brands are on different sales. Adding to the confusion is that the 24 packs of soda are all $7.99 mix and match limit 5 (Not sponsored) And as there is a limit on how many cases of soda you can buy the sale price doesn't come off until the total button is pushed. So people start hooping and hollering before I could explain that the sale price will come off at the end.
Had some Jumbo Jumbo Hot dogs for lunch the can of Monster that I had with lunch was one of the last ones. I have one more for lunch tomorrow. But at least I have Monday and Tuesday off so I'll pick up another case when I do grocery shopping on Tuesday.
I had picked up a couple boxes of Mac and Cheese to go with the Salisbury Steaks that Roommate suggested that I cook for dinner tonight. We've already had Mac and Cheese this week, but that was a combination that I just didn't want to pass up.
