Weight: 314.8 lbs ( 142.8 kg) BMI: 40.4 Waist: 52.5 in ( 133.4 cm) WtHr: 70.9% Breakfast: Bacon and Eggs   Lunch: Johnsonville Irish O'Garlic Bratwursts Dinner: Corned Beef Lentil Stew Drinks: Salted Apple Cider Coffee, Kroger Seltzer, Red Bull, Sober Year 1 (Day 454) Keto Week 2 (Day 17) (61/365 Days 2026 Keto) I was a little emotional when I saw the weight on the scale this morning. 314.8 lbs (142.8 kg) is the weight I was when I started tracking my weight back in 2014. So that was the weight that I had labeled the “Progress Goal” as that is the weight that I started with so any weight lower than that is finally making progress. It is kind of funny that the Spreadsheet titled “Full Weight Loss and Projection” shows a completely flat line for the projection for the rest of the year as the weight is the exact weight as the beginning back in 2014. Sober Month 7 (Day 215)
Keto Day 1

Tried to make a post last night but the damned computer froze. Had a lot of problems with freezing computers yesterday. What was real fun was when all six of the self checkouts and all five of the regular registers all went gray screen. Everybody in the store was screaming for me because, well, I'm the guy that fixes everything. But I have never had that happen to me before so I was kind of lost for the moment.

I reset the Keto Kount yesterday because I had fallen to the temptation of buying some corn chips to go with the Instant Pot chili that I'm having for lunch this week.

I was scheduled to work 10 to 7 today. I was going to set up a pot of Taco Chili before I had to go to work to have ready by the time I got off. But this morning was slow going. I'm going to try to get it set up for tomorrow. But I'm also working 10 to 8 tomorrow. I work 12 to 9 Sunday so if I don't get it tomorrow, I'll do it Sunday.

Rather annoying trend on the weight this month. So far it's been mostly more this year than it was last year. But this time last year was when it started really climbing but I had really fallen off of the wagon on even trying to take care of myself. I've been kind of half-assing Keto lately but still sober. The projections that I have are showing that I'll have a lower weight for the rest of the year. In fact I looked back on the blog to see what I was thinking/going through last year at this time, but this time last year I was having a gap in the sobriety challenge. It was kind of stunning to see that last year I had just stopped writing on July 17th 2024, and just didn't come back to it until September 23rd 2024. And it kind of blows me away that I've been sober straight since December 18th and it's now July 25th. I haven't posted quite as often as I would have liked, but I have kept track of the weight though.

It was kind of slow for a Friday. I didn't take any notes for the day as nothing seemed to happen today. Legs were really stiff and sore. I haven't been very good at taking my supplements, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something. But I'm going to try to start taking the Magnesium, Potassium, D3+K2, and Fish Oil again.
