Whoohoo another record down for the year. I wasn't able to upload last night as it was a bit late already when I got home last night and I had yet to assemble my computer after the move.
I slept considerably better last night than I did the night before. The night of Saturday going into Sunday I just couldn't fall asleep. I'm not sure what the issue was, new pillows? New bed? New Room? But I was flopping around without sleep. The bed is King Sized, but I kept finding the edge of the bed and had to keep pushing myself back from the edge and kept getting tangled up in the blanket.
Slept better last night, but was still really tired. I'm guessing that I'm still recovering from Saturday when I woke up at 6am and was running until 1am Sunday morning.
I started doing laundry Saturday night and Sunday morning. I finished this afternoon. It took me a while because I was really tired all day today.
I went by the bank and by the post office to update my address. I also had to stop by the storage unit to grab the supplements that I usually have with breakfast.
I also called the gas and electricity companies to make sure that my utility accounts were being canceled. I saw on both of the company's websites that there was a way to cancel services online. But to cut your service off it just asked for the address that the service will be canceled at. I was hoping to be careful as Roommate would be angry enough at me without me canceling his hot water and electricity. I had to stay on hold for the gas company for a while. When I called the electricity company the automated voice said that the service was already scheduled to be canceled. I wanted to talk to a representative to ask about what kind of bill I should be planning for and to make sure that I wasn't just cutting the electricity for the old roommate, but as I was on hold for the gas company it was 5:05 and their representatives are only available until 5pm.
Mom suggested that I was over worrying about it. I'm sure it would be fine. Mom also said that Step-Dad said not to do the grocery shopping tomorrow. It seemed to be that she had misinterpreted how I did my weekly meal plan as she kept insisting that it wasn't necessary to spend my day off cooking all day. But that's not what I was doing. What I was doing was doing the cooking for one recipe to have that all week for lunch, and then taking inventory of all of the meat in the freezer to take out 7 different pieces of meat to have for dinner. And although I did call it a “meal plan” it wasn't like 'Wednesday I'll be having bratwursts, and Thursday I'll be having Baked Chicken, Saturday will be Rib-eye...etc.' I was just taking meat out of the freezer and leaving it in the fridge for the week. but either way she really didn't like how I would make the plan and take the meat out of the freezer and leave them in the fridge for a week. We brainstormed an idea that I could cook a recipe for lunch and leave the lunchboxes in the freezer and take out a serving each night to have that serving thawing out overnight, but the other servings could stay good as they'll stay frozen. I was kind of nervous about putting the lunchboxes in the freezer as I wasn't sure if freezing and thawing the boxes would be very good for the rubber seals that are on the lids of the boxes, but the Amazon page (not sponsored) said that they were safe for the freezer. Mom also didn't like the idea of having the dinner meat in the fridge for an entire week. Still hammering out how the meal planning will work while I'm living here.
